Just wondering who on this forum was from pluto as there was alot of dudes i know on it and when i went to nc 2 most of them vanished :( so please post on here with your char name on pluto and you char name/s on terra. I will start...

Carinth got a job and started playing part time. Then just started showing up less and less. Overall the clan pop also droped at the same time. As with any clan the fewer people that show up on-line the more you loose people to more active clans.
We didn't disband, 1/4 of our troops went to other facs and the other 3/4 stoped playing NC.... :( Myself included. As soon as I kick paybycash's butt I'll be online a bit.

Pluto was so good, so many times I talk to my m8's playing newer games and we compare them all to how Neocron used to be, its left a mark on us we will never get rid of, or even want to, the downside to this is no game lives up to it, the pvp was/is the best, and thats all we look for, and damn me we tried to many games and wasted to much cash on em, last in the long line was WoW "cries to self"
I am without game atm, with in a fairly large clan looking for a MMO to play, DnL is around the corner, it might do for a while, chatting to the guys on TS tonight, was talking about NC again, and how it would never be the same unless we all came back.........

Yeah same here, just been looking at the new weapon models and as its free for us old timers on Dec 1st, I'm downloading it now and will certainly have a little look see when the time comes.
I must admit though, in all my time playing neocron 1 from dec 2002, up untill recently I never saw NC have that much done to it, or advertised in any shape or form, but lately all i see on MMORPG.com is info on Neocron 2.1 Evolution, it can only be a good thing, and tbh that Plasma cannon model looks sweet :)

On a side note, Anna wasn't a PPU in those days, she had her pking tank ;)

pitspawn started out as a spy together with Derisor and me (as a full ppu) on the first day of pluto.
After about a week we joined together with Centuri and the NDA was 'formed' (Neocron Defence Agency: Tangent Technologies ftw!!). formed between brakcets because our clans merged and we then to nda aah the first op wars on pluto rocked. Everyone going after that one factory in in the desert, the one that is like totally surrounded by rock and stuff.... *cough* ... yeah .. ;)
I still need to find that one picture, but no ftp at work = sl33py unhappy :(:( my pc at home finally gave up on me completely, I'll try to look it up at my gf's pc

Well now you're going really far back in time when you mention pits old spy, slightly before even when I joined then, his tank career was coming to an end and tbh I think his prime was when he played his PPU, he was godlike with it, truely amazing with his work, not only on the battlefield but off it too, he was a genius with working stuff out for con plans etc.
PK was indeed the name i was thinking of, although I never truely saw him in action, was mentioned a few times as a good PPU.
@ Hinch, m8 you saying all the old NC vets now playing that waste of cash game WoW? you can't be serious the pvp in that game is so fucking shit, and who the hell wants PvE in a game, unless its to lvl so you can PvP ;)
We should try to get as many as possible to come back on Dec 1st, just to have one big blow out outpost fight :)
Yea, PK was Mega's ppu but they were both played by different people. Shadowdancer wasnt a ppu, he was an apu!

so thats our pk team me and cyl0n with quinn supporting us.
we are talking (litterally right now) on msn about actually trying to get back lots of people and doing some opwars etc alot of the old timers and vets etc. though its harder than it looks alot of people are really pissed off at kk for what they did to a great game.
but we're trying and talking just not sure how far it'll go

Well now you're going really far back in time when you mention pits old spy, slightly before even when I joined then, his tank career was coming to an end and tbh I think his prime was when he played his PPU, he was godlike with it, truely amazing with his work, not only on the battlefield but off it too, he was a genius with working stuff out for con plans etc.
We should try to get as many as possible to come back on Dec 1st, just to have one big blow out outpost fight :)

Then Pit noticed that beeing a tank didn't make you immune to death. So he followed into my footsteps and started his ppu... My inactivity around that time may have had something to do with it as well. I went to sweden on vacation for a month and then I had my mid terms..

Yeh Polarity i meant, Psycho Killa was indeed MeGaMaN 's main PPU, did a much better job at keeping himself alive aswell as others as i did on my ppu at that time (lolz),he was ex System Shock i think. Anyone up for remaking E.O.N.
mega and pk was in a lot of different clans remeber their first FA pk one with lllll llll or so the first capped char i ever saw decided right then to make a PE damn he was good :P back then there was no speed cap and no one specialised so a pe could use judge and FL with a few drugs, once saw freeejumpers tank running thro cyrow all con i think specced into ath was faster then a damn hover. and of course all the ubar libby pes back then to elkdor etc now those where the days

Elkdor was like ownage in any character he made, his tank Elky Baby was imo the best tank on the server (when offcourse Elky was playing on it, not Madness), his PE was uhh, same thing, and his APU (ye he had one for some time, deleted his pe for it if i remember correctly) would have his own clan (Dragon Warriors at the time, later got *ehem forcibly* merged with CD, MeGaMaN's BD clan) running like hell from him.
Yea, PK was Mega's ppu but they were both played by different people. Shadowdancer wasnt a ppu, he was an apu!
Shadowdancer was APU hybrid tbh, with holy lightning and tl3 heal.

Like i said, Madness was often on Elky baby, and i think even some other blokes had access to that account, that werent as good as elky, i've seen him in nf against lots of people, and i can tell for sure that he was the best tank on the server back in the Dragon Warrior days.

where ff had successfully retaken an op off another clan. and i think it was us (SS) came in and retook it again from FF whilst another pro city clan was stood on the hill near by cheering us on not fighting just watching :)

Some great battles, one of my personal favs was someone trying to take Tristar from NDA, we didnt have a single PPU online, we ended up fighting em and they had 3, guess they wasn't to good as we smacked em about twice ;)

I think I remember that fight. 8 long hours.. was it GEF, NDA, a few DarK, I think SS came along too. I've always told stories of that long fight, it was amazing and took my entire day. It was such a shame when they added a GR in the underground and destroyed the best OP in the game.
If KK would just remove that underground.. and keep the GR outside.

hahaz, anyway, best op fight EVER... shite man, now i remember, i wasreally new in GeF back then (coz BD kinda died after DW/CD), and when i logged on escape and EvilEye i think, Demonica offcourse, and some more ppl were talking about taking Soliko at like 10 am my time, so i went there to help out with the hacking, we were still fighting like mad there with NDA/SS, was like a deadlock, we upstairs moonbeamers/doomies/mals, shooting everyone to hell that came in the Soliko stairway shaft, and nda trying to go up and pwn us, eventually i think pimp or dark came and saved the day by attacking em on ground level from cajun, i want those days back *cry*.

Can't remember who won, I do remember Nexx beating me, but I also remember that i was only rank 52 at the time and only just could use a shitty CS i had, and beating other capped tanks :P

As far as the who best ppu saga goes on, everyone will say theirs was the best coz they kept them alive or helped their team win a op fight, but at the end of the day, when ever did you see 15+ enemy trying to kill one PPU for like 10mins while the said PPU was running about ressing their entire team, and then turning the fight and winning it with everyone up and killing?
I think a few will remember that fight at Gravis outpost, was insane, and I'm sorry but i only ever saw polarity dead a couple of times, and its hard to pinpoint when that was if im honest with myself.
During NDA's reign on Pluto, at its top form, it was hard for any clan to win against us, there was a lot of TG clans that came and went, TR, The Gang and some others, it was mostly just rebuilt TG players time and time again, but you guys knew when attacking one of NDA ops you got a damn hard fight :)
I really do miss those days, everything I've played since then has been a shadow of it tbh, looking forward to dec 1st and seeing some old faces etc

I mean, in the time i played, which was agggggggesss, the game changed in so many ways it would be impossible to compare a ppu from the hybrid days to a modern day ppu. Things changed so much of the course of NC1 that it would be impossible to tell. To be honest, I hope the battle for best PPU goes on for a long time.

shit, and there was only 4 of us there :(
me and CC vs. Alex and Lil Green Guy, started at cycrow, moved into tezla, 2 vs 2 fight lastnight nearly 40 mins or something lol, I had to go buy ammo from tezla YO's with alex drilling me with CS, was only a couple weeks after antibuff was added and CC was still gettin used to it, jeez the memories, and that is possibly the only fight ive had, where all 4 of us were all in plaza1 right after talkin about how fuckin great it was lol

Deadpool is another of pits real life m8's, and before his APU he had his tank Raven, which he dumped and made his APU deadpool at the same time pit dumped his tank and made his PPU, they both lvled together as Hybrids to start with, then I remember a patch or something which made them decide to split as APU/PPU team, and damn Deadpool was good.
OL was another good player, and Cent on his APU "Omega_Kill" wasn't to bad either, and often would team with Polarity as Deadpool kinda went awol on the game.
Aahz, the original one, used to be a kickass Tank, which he rerolled after much heartache to a APU, its funny coz at the same time I was lvling my tank up, and gave some thought to rerolling to make a APU with him at the same time, but instead stuck it out with my tank and capped him out, never regretted that one bit :)

There's just as much hype and opinions as there is history if you ask me. People tend to remember most of the people they met in early day NC as the best because back then NC ruled and the grass was alot greener back then
Nem_2k, Phobos, Shadowdancer we're the 3 best apus on Pluto when i was around

Because of the one slot status, there reall was a sense of community as hardly anyone had alts, people knew each othe rmore as the characters and less the people behind them, which made the game world so much realer.
