I was just thinking today about this after getting multiple 5 slot weapons.
What ammo mods do most other people use? personally i like fire and poison due to the stackage.
What do you like/why?

just flamers... poison is probably would be everyones 'favorite'. but shouldnt be on an overall poll.

i use force modded most
flamer and nailguns! :D but its probably fire mostly, but ive been using xray alot lately

Fire with energy weapons, uranium with projetile weapons usaly. Exept the whyatt, always fire on that.
Usaly not that much diffrence realy between ammo mods vs non noobs though. I just like fire :) .

I use this new ammo mod that i created in Biotechs labs. Its called The Ultimate Power. It uses PSI energy, and since PSI resist is broke and nobody has any it PWNZZZ. I am a mastermind!

Xray for Projectile
Xray for AoE
Fire for Moonie
Poison for flamer
something like that.
I have some weapons with multiple mods or multiple weapons with various mods, so I switch a bit back and forth.
Basically I use what I do most damage with.
explo. if not avail energy. xcept for reza's followers: let them eat xray.

Wheres the force mod option and why is x-ray/energy in one package?
Not a good poll tbh but voted x-ray and use force(explosive) too since it is theoretically better against monks and usually spies.

i always usually have 2 ammo mods per gun (force/xray) and carry ammo for both so i can load up quickly depending on who i fight, but force is my 'default'

Back when i did op wars a few years ago ....
My PPU was pistol in dex and a nail gun with force ... .used it to hit other PPU's ressing as this would move them around enough for them to get a fizzle spell ......
Can't remeber how effective it was ???
Asking the forums, means you can tailor resists to compensate for it ... This would be a highly regarded secret

Yeah, why go for skill when you can lag ppl out and cause them not to see properly.
Explo or Xray against monks.
Fire against spys.
Xray against the others.

takes more skill to be a *good* ppu than to play any other class
*especially* PE, who needs a ppu to grant them godmode when they have insta godmode 2 clicks of a button! (stealth)

Since im not in PVP, i use the Mod that does the most damage to the Mobs im hunting at the Moment.
Fire for all kinds of mutants.
Force for most Kinds of Robots (WB)
and X-Ray for the Firemobs.

Well, the diffrence isent huge. I consider it a slight boost for a shitty pistol.

I'm first person. Being attacked by a fire wyatt while DBed makes you blind though.
xray owns chaos mobs, fire doesn't.

Acually I didnt know if ya did, but since your sig says FF I took an educated guess that you had atleast 1.

I have a special bond with fire, so I'm usually mod weapons with that. Unless someone else mods em, then it's usually xray. Eh, I miss firestorming the Chaos Caves :(
I like Fire mod for low level mobs also hurts WB's later on but if i am Monk bashing then Force is what i choose.

lol today is the day i like to quote you it seems, but yah i miss that terribly ... mainly cause it was insane xp and cash :) and a wonderfull sight seeing all these critters burn :angel:

Dx9 and a laser pointer does that so much better.
Hah, yeah.
Love it when the whole screen flashes red cause it got hit by a laserpointer.

Both xray & fire. Xray for el farid/crp runs and Fire for MB/elsewhere....all depends on which area i'm going to
Just get a multi-slotted weapon :p
fire for tsu because it scares people when they can see how much they are getting hit.
