4th Annual Neocron Halloween Costume Contest

Can you believe we've done this three years running now? I am posting the details of the contest now, so you have some time to prepare your costumes and ideas.

The contest will start October 1st and run through November 5th. Voting will be from November 6th to the 12th and the winners announced November 13th.

Funniest Costume
Scariest Costume
Cutest Costume
Best Neocron Inspired Costume

Prizes will be announced shortly

Rules:

1. You may only submit a photograph of yourself - do not submit a photo of someone other than yourself.

2. You may not manipulate yourself in the photograph, only the background may be edited.

3. You must send your submission to danae@neocron.com along with your forum name, and neocron account name - Do not post your submission on the forums or share it with anyone else. When you send your email denote which category you are entering your picture (funniest, scariest, cutest, best neocron inspired).

4. Reakktor employees and family are not eligable to win this contest but they may submit pictures anyway. When they submit their pictures they must denote their name and or relationship to the Reakktor employee. Volunteers are welcome to participate.

5. No nudity or inappropriate submissions.

6. You may only submit one photograph for the contest per neocron account, although you may submit more than one for show.

7. Be creative.

As I get submissions we will put them up for viewing starting October 1st. I will also post some pictures from older contests.

I should have some pictures up by monday or tuesday.

I can't believe that was all that got sent in. If I knew the offerings were so sparse, I would have entered.

About the neocron-inspired.. not much of an attempt on #1's part, I have to say. #2 suffers from one glaring inconsistency in that he's got a shiny gold watch on his wrist. Now, what post-apocalyptic survivor is going to have that? Plus - shoulda taken the picture later on, when it would be a little darker - that'd have added a LOT of atmosphere.

About funniest - that didn't even get my "that's funny? are you sure?" sensor going. 100% abstaining here, guys.
