Everyone goes there because of faster leveling, and they still can keep their LE in. KK should somehow make it so only pure tradeskillers can keep their LE.
Agreed, but I dont see it happening. LE has no place on PvP server, always thought that. Even for tradeskillers, if they want to tradeskill without risk of getting ganked there are other servers for that. Quite a few characters can be made tradeskill/combat hybrid so it shouldnt be impossible to tradeskill on a pvp server - harder yes but not impossible.

If Pure tradeskiller can keep it in, then there is a reason for all to keep it in.
I believe that at level 35 (The level you cannot re-implant it) it should drop out ......
This would incourage creative hunting, and hunting in teams ...

Hunting in teams - 4 or 5 40 / 40 runners can take out 1 rogue pker ....
if he has a PPu then thats another thread or 6 ......
This pure tradeskill thing is crap ..... Pure trade skillers should run the same risks as everyone else, they are worse than the pker's.....
I am 1 person, can wield 1 gun..... so i am respoinsable for the deaths of those that have felt my justice ......
The person who made this gun is a contructor, while a resser has donr the rares / bp's ... They are responsable for providing me this weapon .... they are the reason i have my killing tools....
If I have a killing tool and my enemy has one, he has a constructor and resser too .... If I kill his contructor and resser .... then they can not longer make weapons to kill me ....
A poker is someone thats spends his life looking after the well being of the enemy ... He helps the enemy to wield and utlise their killing tools quicker, better .... He too is my worst enemy .....

pkers will always look everywere if they are really bored.
and imho you need tradeskillers on neptune esp on neptune since items drop straight out to your belt. hence you need more new items. without tradeskillers you aint gonna have them. people who just tradeskill just tradeskill.. a tradeskilling spy needs to be pure eighter way. you can be a tradeskill hyb for hunting but not for pvp imho ( implant setup is competly diffrent for one )
my trader has her le in.. my hyb will take her le out somewere this week if i got time enuff to play need some more dex so i'm a lil faster before i can pvp :x

this should really be a poll instead of yet another bitch session about LE's. No offense, guys. If everyone votes for it, there's hard and fast evidence to KK of our opinion.
FWIW, i agree. No LE's, especially bz of Crest's argument. 1 safezone for tradeskillers to do their work and thats it. Zone whores will be zone whores.

Crest your using the exscuse of role play.... to prove that LE's shouldn't exists on a PVP server. By pure definition and your statement tradeskillers should be removed full stop from the pvp server as mostly they are technically roleplay characters.
Im not using the LE on my chars but i can understand why some people would want to keep the LE in till their stats are mostly capped, but theres far too many that are more than capped and have all their equipment sorted, all the rares they need etc, but still keep their LE in ...
Only char that would want them is a conster or resser so how about the standard LE deactivating at say rank /40 but 2 new LE's available from the implant vendor that have a const and research requirement on them so that traders can keep their LE status

I did not create a PVP server, and then enforce the rules of the normal realm. Hey I would not have an issue with fighting store bought stuff .... PPU's would be crap and fights would naturally last longer .... Epic are the new rares .... no one has a supre setup cause no one has chips in ....
But we all know thats not how it works .... PVP in neocron is still an aspect of the game, so is role playing ....
KK have not turned the role playing off, neither have they dis-allowed pking and pvp on the other servers ..... All they really done is modified 1 or 2 environment flags ...
1) Safe zones
2) Construction
3) No locked slots
4) Increased exp gain ....
You still have to level
You still have the other aspects of role playing, like jones when you start ....
I pledge, 1 rule for all .... if LE's stay in then all stay in ... Why would you create a perm safe zone for some players .....
So having a tradeskill at an op while its being hacked, and he feed back to his friends .... while claiming his just using it for a bonus .....
How many tradeskillers level from scratch as a trade skiller ? Now that it is possible ....
My is - take the thing out of the game .... or give low level a chance to establish themselves ... even give them more to start off with to allow quicker growth ....
At level 35 no matter who you are , the LE should deactivate ... so you can keep it in your head if you want ... but it serves no purpose ...
The other day I saw a level 50 Crahn Master ....
this tells me, he took his le out, drugged up for the kill mission, create a kill char (Cause both players with LE out were no about or not crahn), picked up missions, did kill and the drugs came off or removed his imps .... then he implanted it back .....
FA chip is a trade skills chip.... and yet you have to kill someone for it ... Just remove the LE ....

The FA chip epic was capable of being finished with an LE in your head.
No PvP kills needed. Same with the Tsunami epic.
One of the last patches made it so all epic kills of players were moved to NPC's.
Your Crahn master didn't do anything fishy to get his master status.
edit: Now, I haven't even bothered to start a character on Neptune.
So, if the epics there require player kills, I haven't heard about it. If I'm wrong, so be it. If I'm right, you didn't do your homework and your logic about epics is flawed.
I can see where you are coming from with some of the other stuff though.
The server pops are low enough in this game.
Faster leveling\SI and the ability to keep the LE in is probably keeping some people playing that would have otherwise cancelled their account(s).
I agree the LE doesn't make sense on the PvP server, but many other things don't either. At least it's keeping people playing which is all KK can hope for at this point.

I capped my PE, got my marines and zerk2/3, waiting on my Moveon to pull the LE. and im not pulling my LE at all on my trader.
i still agree le's should be removed from the server totaly. that would make tradskillers a more valuable object =] maby they could get there own strap on ppus to =]
besides... who doesnt have acces to a tradeskiller for the clan... or a friend when they need one :S nc is about making big powerful and usefull friends, =]
