Black Screen Upon Login: Help Please

Hello,

I downloaded the client for my 2nd computer, installed, patched and started the executable. It shows the spash screens but then goes into a permanent black screen. The login screen never shows up. I have tried it in full and windowed mode as well as run a file integrity check.

Any ideas? Thanks.

i had this for a long time. i ended up reinstalling and getting the same problem (i run windows XP) and figured out all i needed to do was log off and back on, and i felt like a dum fruck.

I also had to do a complete reinstall :(
