Is this a new feature or something, because last night neocron crashed and restarted my computer for me (I know that is a feature). But when I tried to get back in using the neocron launcher it shows reakktors webpage, and it won't let me connect to a server. My internet is working perfectly fine obviously since I am posting here.

I rember this feature, heh bug, from way back If i rember correctly the ini file that contains the info for the launcher is screwed up and is pointing at the wrong IP.

It's the weirdest thing really, if I use the shortcut on my desktop NC starts up fine with the correct homepage. However, if I assign NC to a hotkey on my keyboard it starts up with the reakktor site :wtf:

Anyone know how to fix this? I mean it just figures this would happen when I was in the CRP cave because so far I have only died due to bugs, I haven't even been shot at yet.

would this have anything to do with a corrupted neocron.ini?

check it says: NETBASEIP = "62.140.29.50:7000"

To my delight I recived help from support in a few hours. Incase this happens to anyone else your updater ini must look like this.

SERVERIP=62.140.29.50
PORT=8020
PATCHPREFIX=patches\cp
EXE=Client.exe
GAMESERVERIP=62.140.29.50
HOMEURL=http://launcher.neocron.com/
FTPSERVER=ftp.neocron.com
TESTPATCHDIR=/nc2testserver
RETAILPATCHDIR=/nc2retail
ISRETAILVERSION=1
USELOCALPORT=0
LOCALPORT=0

Some how mine changed..
