Which you use? I use dx 7 because of vechicles and better clipping distance. Allthough in DX7 i FRE or crash otherwise more often than in DX9. For ten FRE's in DX7 i hardly get one in DX9.
Oh and i cant notice MUCH of a difference in graphips on either of them.

Both, but at least 80% of time just Dx7.

DX7, cuz i can at least see where the world is gonna go beyond the clipping distance, and the black pe pa actualy has a texture instead of plain black nothingnes.

I use dx9, I get stupid graphics bugs in it. Havent tried dx7 to be honest, I expect it'll fix those, although reduce overall quality? Might test that out though in case it helps with the stupid memory leaks I experience.
Dx9, cause it give's me a much better fps than Dx7, especially around the op zones.

Nope, been awkward silence since i started in late 2002.
DX9, because it gives better FPS.
I use DX9 atm, but if the clipping range is higher in DX7 I may well switch to that.
DX9 - Dont know why, havnt actualy tried DX7.

Well, in DX7 i can see the horizon, not that mobs or people will show up that far, but in DX9 i get a black edge of the world where people would start showing up.

In NC1 I had a sniper spy. He used to like heading out into the OZ and hunting the enemy factions, silent but deadly from a distance.
In NC2 my sniper is dead. Haven't used him since I saw the distance I get in the OZ, may aswell lom to pistols, because now people can see where I am.
It sux may try DX7 for sniper see if its better but DX9 sux for that char. :(

DX7 for me now and I hate it but hey no choice :P
DX9 just random crash's for me no clue why :o also DX9 with vehicle and XP with SP2 does not mix so kinda screwed there anyhow used to switch between the 2 untill my DX9 just gave up on me totally.
DX7 all the way, the game seems to go slow-mo in dx9, and the horizon is harder to spot enemies from.
Makes no difference to syncs, fatals, crashed computer, bad logins, clipping etc etc though. Thats pure KK.

And yes i meant the Outside :) if you wanna call it wastes fine then thats the one.
I can't see shit just a wall after a distance, never had that problem in NC1 and looks like most get it from DX9 so me thinks i'll be trying DX7 later :cool:
I use DX7.
A) DX9 makes models all fucked up - I get lines pointing to many 'legged' mobs in the zone from the second I zone. Tire piles go up to the sky. Vehicles have weird lines off of them.
B) DX9 has some leak where it totally freezes my PC when the Available Mem gets to 0. If I Alt+F4 the second I notice, sometimes I can get out of it.
C) DX9's Fusion Cannon effect would kill epileptic people.
D) My video card, GF3Ti500, was not designed around DX9.

DX7 - DX9 makes no difference for me except it eats more of my memory and makes my PC melt. Don't get any FPS difference whatsoever.
i dun fre or sinc often in dx7. and i cant even play in dx 9 :D cos of my graphics card being a gforce2 and i cant be bothered to take the good one out the crap pc because this one works perfect
would be hugely interested if one makes a difference over the other fps wise, atm just seems the only difference is I can alt+tab in the wastes, if there was definately no fps hit i would go dx7, atm i'll stick to dx9 tyvm.

DX9 here... Runs like a turd in both dx7 & dx9 so I stick with dx9 as it causes me less problems when I have to alt+f4 or ctrl+alt+del to kill the game while I syncbug 50000000000 times per day. I lock up in dx7 when I try it.

dx 9 doesnt let you alt tab in the wastes...
i used dx7 until i got a new gfx card (had a gf3 ti 700 iirc), then dx9 all the way.
I use Dx9 and I did try Dx7 but pvp was like slow motion =/
having tested DX7 i will be using that now!
Why?.......because my mirror in my appy actually shows a reflection instead of a white/grey mass...Dam i look hot :D
