Can somone reccomend me a good video recording program to make in game movies with? any links , suggestions or tips would be nice Thanks :)

I would advise Fraps, but only if your computer will work with it(download a trial and see if you can play with it running :) )


I have fraps recording to another HDD and I get about 60FPS while recording

I get 15 fps while running fraps, 5 fps while running camtasia. :( Probably because I have on-the-fly Xvid compression on the camtasia recorder, but nothing on the fraps.

always used fraps it doesn't make my fps any worse. most op fights i get 30 fps. i remmeber shooting a rdogz vs ff vid 10vs10 people or whatever its still on the ff website i think. but shot that with 30 fps with fraps.

think the trick is to let fraps record to a second hd as i do not the disk nc / windows is on. and maybe a geforce 6800 gt with 256 megs helps the cause.

hmm , i have used fraps before and it was kinda lagy , but mabe thats becuase it was on the same drive and with my old card . ill try it on a diff drive .

K i got this GameCam thing , but when i record then stop and go open the movie file its just black. Cant seem to find out what i gota do or anything about it
