I have done the searches and this is what i know.

1 - Make another copy of NC folder
2 - Start up the 2 seperate EXE. one at a time
3 - Select the config and change port for second instance

This is the problem.

They both load up , i log on one account all fine
I log on second account it all freezes :(

I got a 3ghz machine with 1Mb ram still around 5Gb left on main HD.

Anyone who uses this got any ideas? I just want to be able to tranfer stuff and maybe LOM a char whilst playing another.

Best off to edit the second instance directly from the neocron.ini file. Doing it from the launcher shares info between the 2 .exe's, thus causing it to lock up

I have found that doing this is really nice for getting your epic kills.:)

I know that when the test server was up, to save disk space you could move the .pak files the the root of the drive C:\ Then just make a copy of the neocron folder to some other place, It checks for the files there if there not in the neocron folder by default. I'm not sure if this is allowed or if its possible anymore I can't see why not since nothing is changed but from there you only need to edit the ini file to change the port. Then just make a seperate shortcut for each client :)

You have to modify the second installation's configuration from its .ini file in order for it to work properly. I'd also recommend running the second client in 800*600 window'd mode so that it puts less strain on your PC when you use the first client.

both clients in windowed, edit local port via the launcher.

works until you wanna log another char.

no extra files needed, no file editing needed.
