Hi there,

Like the title says: is there a big difference between the Rapidfire SMG224 and the Enhanced Automatic Pistol? Or does the slight difference in TL (63 vs. 64) not matter?

afaik the smg's fire faster but can't really think off a big diffrence off hand tho.

The auto pistol does lesser damage, dunno about accuarcy diffeances. I.E how big the chance of all four bullets to hit a target.

The auto pistol does lesser damage, dunno about accuarcy diffeances. I.E how big the chance of all four bullets to hit a target. They changed it since then so that the auto pistol is slower to add variety to the pistols

if they were the same TL's an Auto Pistol would be slightly slower, but have a slightly higher dmg per bullet, with the SMG being slightly faster with slightly less dmg per bullet.

Will there ever be an auto-pistol rare version and possibly rocket-pistol rare (very dubious about the latter :D )?

from my personal experience, i learned to like the auto 64 more than the uzi 63: less recoil, more hits. in general more bang per hour.

How can you guys use the lame ass auto pistols, because last time I leveled a pistoler, they were so ankward to use that pretty much immediately changed to SMGs. I dunno if they were bugged or something, but they really didn't fit my style.

I leveled up lowtech on the normal 9mm pistols (wyat earp styel) and the smg ones. When you use those there's a perfect tl curve you can follow. Just have some made and stick the same ammo mod in them so you can reuse all your ammo.

I have to agree with argent. The auto pistols just have a really strange feel to them I find. For some reason the rate they fire at totally messes up my attempts to aim properly with them.

in early NC1 i had the luck of making a 5 slotted smg, since then pratically all of my spy's have used that same smg to level up, its a very enjoyable weapon !

SMG tl 63 is yust ... a winner

Well if the aggie runs into your sights...tough luck for him. But it is true that you don't need a TL 63 gun for that. My PPU girl "Evilynne" uses a TL25 unlabeled automatic pistol ATM. Aggies are not a problem with that :)
