Its pretty fun, but most commonly, you have smacktards in the "commander" possition that bomb the hell out of there own forces (and even worse) Newbs who cant fly, whoring (and teamkilling just as often) for the aircraft ingame.
Besides that though, if you get a nice server, the game is friggin awsome. I personally like being a combat medic! Defibulators for teh win! :D

Heh, the medics get defibrillators. That actually sounds pretty cool.
Of course people don't know how to fly, and bomb their own people. They are looking for quick action. They don't care if they fly a bomber, they'll start dogfighting other craft, or try and bomb when nothing is beneath them. They will shoot shotgun slugs at tanks, etc.
Lots of fun though. :lol: Even if most don't use strategy.

i like BF2, very similar to BFV hé ... i love the engineer for the mines and the specops for the C4 :P
the immense rush it gives you being proned behind some rock ... see an enemy unit running 300 meters over the airfield to finally get to he's o so wanted plane and when he gets in ... the little button gets pressed and KABAAM LOL
tough this mostly ends with an artillery strike up youre ass o_O
the antitankmines are handy to rack up kills :p and the sniper is yust fun if there camping the place or if its a nice big map :)

Meh...you lucky ppl who can actually play BF2. The demo didnt work for me...at all (and according to the demo readme, my gfx card's compatible..i think) :lol: :D
Ah well. Suppose I'll have to look for screenshots of combat medics and jet fighters..and laugh at the stories of commanders carpetbombing the crap out of their own troops.

yeh i love them too. but i hate teammates that take a car or tank, look to the sky and drive right into my fesh layed mines eveni left space on the side.
than those suckers even punish for TK ...
and i love sniper chopper pilots that jump off a chopper over their favorit place and let all the gunners see how they get to the ground :)
and the memleak on the current patch kills all the fun.

I only ever played the demo but it was most deffinitly annoying how poor the commanders were, "Request Artillery Barrage At Designated Position"... "LOL YOUR POSITION!? BUT YOU A SNIP0RZ! SILLY! OKI BOMBS AWAY! KTHxBYE!"
Cue one artillery barrage later and out comes one very angry sniper. Though I was one of the only snipers that could take down tanks, god knows why people get OUT of tanks to look for sniper, where their fleshy husks are exposed, Heheh.
I must say I can't fly aircraft in this game to save my life on the demo map, literally, I sometimes get some good bombing runs in, otherwise I try to show off and crash into the ground at full speed. It's good that pilots who fly often will get good so that piloting will be for more 'elitist' players and unlike say GTA: VC where you can actually fly the jet upside down like that. :p

my roomie told me it needed like 2 gigs of ram and 128 or 256 mb video memory (cant remember), i found that hilarious... they didnt save on the requirements thats for sure lol.

Man, you should see what kinds of "anti tank" methods my friend is cooking up In BF2.
He revived an old favorite with the new engines, which involved the specialists remote C4, which he promptly names the technique, Jihad jeeps.
Basically, take A-One specialist, and one Jeep. Plant all the explosives on the front of the jeep, and jump in the jeep. Make sure you have your detonator out when you get in the jeep, so when you get out you can detonate quickly.
This technique really scares the crap out of the tank users in the map, because basically, You hold down your fire Key as your approaching the tank, which there by sounds off the horn. If you time it right, and exit the vehicle, RIGHT before impact, you take out the tank, all of its occupants, and yourself, in one giant blaze of glory.
The only downside to this strategy is that people eventually learn to counter it, yet rarly they do. That, and people calling your a jeep whore as well. :D
Anouther nice bit that hasnt been patched yet is that Specialists can "throw" C4 out of a blackhawk when in one of the passenger seats. Effectivly turning the blackhawk into a bomber, which is awsome.
Honestly I think this guy has too much time on his hands, but he's damned funny to watch in BF2. :lol:

considering i had no issues with 1 gig of ram (in the demo) i wouldn't believe everything you hear.

lol yah i remember putting mines onfront of a vehicule in BFV and yust riding into an enemy, its great lol, with the way you describe it should be possible in BF2 also :P i yust have to try this tonight :)
ow and msdong, i did as they said on the site, yust trew it of the computer and reinstalled witouth patching .. the patch was shite lol, i had so many troubles but now its back ok :) i can even find ranked servers now with space left lol
That looks more like BFV by the tactics, whore the aircrafts, that whatseveryone does in bfv not in bf2 tbh

Those are minimum recomenden is 256mb gfxcard, 1gb ram,2.5cpu

i dunno either but i know one thing for sure: the more power behind youre computer the better cause BF2 takes alot of it :)
ati 9200 wont work, a mate's mate of mine had one and it wouldnt start, i heard the geforce 5200 works tough on pretty low settings :/
fatass cards arent a luxury in this game tough, high AA and AF = one happy gamer :D
and whoring the aircrafts was fun in BFV tbh :D
