Question about the trophies

Hey KK, I got a non rant question.. honestly

I was wondering how exactly do the trophies work, Do they just drop off the mob like a T part or junk? Are there Rank limitations to the mobs or are they decided by hand? Can you only get the heads?

from what i did read you need more then 1 part of a mob to get a trophy.

so i gues its something like they drop parts and you need xxx parts to exchange it for a trophy. would make most sence i gues ;)

i'd guess thats it.

either trade em in to an NPC or get a hunting mission in the new hunters lodge (well... the last patch said it was changing things for new maps... there may be more than the doy clubs being added :p)

New unfurnished appy set up with a few choice pieces of furniture for a museum style display of all these new trophies ;)

Unfortunately for me when there's something to collect I get hooked those dam rare parts :lol: keep me addicted as much as the PvP :D

From the Hunter npc in mb or p1 (they say the same thing), you kill a grim chaser (I think...), get its head. Then you get like 3x wood and 3x metal pipe and throw in processor and recycle it to get the trophy. The NPC only tells you that one mob, so we have to figure out what mobs are trophyable (new word!!1) and what other materials they take to turn into a trophy.

Trading for trophy parts would be insanely lame, cause you didn't actually get the kill. They should make them so that they are "soul bound" (hate that mmo word).

Patch 140,
Players: " ive killed the same mob 1000000 times.. nothin droped !! OMG WHINE"
KK: "working as intended"

Fix 141 (increased drop rate)
Players: "coool, i got 200 trophies now :)"
KK: "we are sorry to say, but we will turn all your trophy loot to "rat nails"x20 due to an over increase in the drop rate. hopefully it will be fixed soon"

I was not asking how you get those trophys!! I know about the bloody NPC.

It was suggested heads drop from same mobs as techs, I simply pointed out that non tech dropping mobs are featured in the Screenie i.e. rat etc. So maybe this assumption was false ;)

Killed Poisonous Spider Queen about 100 times and got only junk (afaik its strongest Poisonous Spider ingame)

Biggest Spider is the Spider Queen. You can find her on the south sectors of Neocron (a sectors and b sectors)
