HackNet Stuffs From The French Forum

There is still a few issues to be resolved inside Hacknet. I'm still working on the Loot issues, and the Armor & Health amounts still are not quite right yet both in PvP and PvM.

There is also a Higher level mob issue on the chopping block atm as well, that deals with creating mobs that can't be killed by a single player no matter how hard they try. This requires abilities the npc's don't have atm, and when it's done it won't be something that deals with HackNet only, it'll be a game wide change. For example, the Pheonix CPU is one of the mobs thats intended to be a Team Needed NPC. Requiring atleast 8 players to kill.

Lupus posted this in the french forum sounds very interesting especialy the changes coming with the new Phoenix CPU sounds like we're gonna get some nails boss mobs in the real world aswell :D

Would be good to see mobs which take a team requirement, however the reward for killing it would have to be sweet! :D

Maybe an idea borrowed form other MMOGs..... ;)

Maybe an idea borrowed form other MMOGs..... ;)Somethings thats always been intended, yet never came to light. The NPC's still don't have the abilities needed to be able to truely require a team atm which is whats in the works. Theres a ton of different NPC AI changes that have been kicking around lately, Including ones to combat things like the "AOE from around the corner" issues.

In the future you may see things like a Lil Bastard that can't be killed by a PPU/Whatever combo no matter how hard they try ;)

Of course most of it is still in the early stages of development & fesability testing, so an ETA for any of this can't be posted atm, if its at all feasible.

Tis a pity no ETA can be posted but all news of progress is good news tbh :) so is this sort of the purpose of the lil bastard aswell? or is it just your pet :p ?

interesting, although the populations atm wouldnt really support many mobs that require that many people to kill (looting and all that crap). Nice idea though, hopefully it will be implemented with about a million other things that are needed before the populations disappear altogether

*PPU Realises whats going on, and tries in vain to run*

*Invisible GM's laughing their asses off*
*Complaints come in as Players have Dragged Lil B to an Op UG Entrance, and no one can get out*

Sounds interesting :) a rogue NPC with God like powers :lol:
Don't worry not gonna ask about timing for this :p Just nice to know this sort of thing is being considered :D :D

while you're here, Lupus, when it comes to hacknet loot, amongst other things could you please put hack boosters on mob corpses?
