Iīve been trying to find one ever since they said the project started.

EDIT:

Ok read it again, closed in between Theme Weeks to show a clear change in Theme... but PLZ PLZ PLZ remove the hacknet behind the themeweeks then and make it either nothing or none or something that says.. nothings happening here atm..

Who cares about newbie helpers? It's another one of KK's carebear ideas that won't work.

do we have to balance the amount of advertising against the scores in major magasine(s) again? :p

Personally I give over several hours of my gameplay to help noobs, Newbies, nibs, whatever your calling them at the moment.

1 - Because I find it rewarding to help new people.

2 - Because I remember how steep the bloody learning curve was!

3 - Because I hate seeing people ask questions only to be blanked or given the neo terminology answer ( i.e. np dude find a cst, get the bp from a res etc.) Although help channel does give some valid information ;)

4 - I will show them around, log me cst build then some weapons recycle them some ammo for their gogo and take them to a good levelling area. Sometimes this interaction is better then simply chatting over Help channel.

I do this not only to retain some of these nibs but because they feel they have made a connection in what can seem a very empty game world at the moment.

Help the Noobs they are the future of this game and our future op war backup :D

Too much advertising cannot hurt. The Crazy Frog is proof of this.

Have to be the intro theme - no way the goddamn elevator music of the HQs/TH or the "wow that rocks for first 30 seconds followed by its-giving-me-a-headache" MB 'toons'

When/Where? :S

I havn't seen a single advert/commercial to this game on any gaming website and/or magasine.

I thought Atari were like a major corportation, with major money?
Who do we have to sex to get some TV commercials and magazine covers?

Well, EA appear to have bought "sponsorship" of every Star Trek show on Sky one for at least the past two years. Pity (as with most things EA touches) the games weren't that brilliant. I'm pretty sure one of Bullfrog and Eidos bought a bunch of Dungeon Keeper adverts for channel 4 back in the day. I might just be hallucinating though.
