So we've had a few friends of SXR members download the trial and try out the game. A few NC1 SXR members are thinking of returning and trying out NC2 as well. However, I'm hearing now (Nid or any KK-style Employees feel free to clarify, that's why I'm posting), that these people, because they're in the US or wherever there aren't boxes being sold, cannot actually play NC2 because all new accounts require a CD-Key. Is this true?

One new player for instance, Skooter - his trial is about to run out in 2-3 days. He likes the game and wants to continue, but we're being told that once it's up, he's screwed and will not be able to upgrade his account without a CD-Key. Living in the US, that's kinda hard.

KK, please just clarify this CD-Key stuff I keep hearing about, but know nothing about since I live in the US and havne't seen a box for myself. Is this true? From the looks of it, people who can't buy a physical box (i.e. US or any places where they're not in-stock) - are shit out of luck and can't play.

Thanks in advance,

in this times you could live in Uzbekhistan and still get a NC2-Box delivered to your door-mat.
Besides that, its true that you need to buy a box (thx to Atari) to play after that 10-day trial - and for now, the release in north-america is still nothing but a vague shape at the horizon.

I suppose that's better than the $66 it would cost to have that European game store, Game, ship it
