[BUG] Gliders

Ok was flyin around in my glider, normal one (ie lowest level) and flew to a zone line, not only did i not zone but i flew INTO the zone line, resulting in my glider exploding, and mr dropping to my doom.

PLEASE give theses stupid gliders some armour :@

What sector were you in cus there are some zones that don't have zonelines just sector edges can be a brutal experience flying into one of those I know i've done in by landing behind regeants legacy I had to get a GM to blow up my glider and replace it cus it was taking so long to despawn behind a zoneline

There IS no I-01. That's why the zoneline doesn't work. It's the edge of the map.

All zones at the edge of the map have either water or cliffs. There is deffinitely a bugged zoneline adjacent to J01.

Same with the TG vulcano zone... Fly over and you get stuck with vehicle disappearing.

So i guess it's the terrain around the edge of world "zoneline" that's wrong then. If it were a stupidly high cliff, ppl wouldn't even try zoning there. Having flat terrain at the eastern edge of the zone is rather confusing.


/edit: @ enigma, yup, DoY entrances are the edge of the map, just like south of the A-zones at NC, west of the x-01 zones, east of the x-16 zones. Edge of the map = no zoneline, just invisible wall. Avoid.

Tbh, the old NC worldmap showed this better as all the "zones" that didn't exist, like I-01 and F-14 were bright yellow and marked "restricted area". The modern map means that forbidden areas are a little unclear. Not for aviators.

Most of those stupidly high cliffs are passable with a glider then its on into sweet cybernetic oblivion where you drop off the edge of the map.

No. This has happened to both me and friends. Somehow you don't triggger zoning, and simply fly straigh on until you hit the zone edge. Not a lot you can do.
