I thought I would start a post about tips or tricks that you might of come across to make crashing less frequent or less painful. Here are mine;

-Dissable Dr Watson (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;188296)
This little mod is awesome since it stops windows from generating a crash log that can sometimes take a very long time

-Change the Timeout for Hanged Applications (http://www.petri.co.il/change_the_timeout_for_hanged_applications.htm)
This one can be a double edged sword sometimes since sometimes Neocron likes to play dead and actually takes more then the 5 seconds that are allocated to determine if an application is locked up.

-ALT+F4
This is good if you are just sitting there and nothing is happening.

-Dissable all not needed services
Instructions on dissabling services in windows can be found . here (http://worksmart.techwhack.com/13/faster-safer-windows-xp/)If you want to get really fancy you can create a seperate gaming hardware profile just for gaming that has only the basic services running that are needed for gaming. This will free up memory and the extra processing cycles that background applications take up.
