TBH i've got like 1.67GB left of a 80 GB HD
One day i was just happily playing neocron :p
then suddenly i got a message pop up saying low disc space remaining :eek:
So i looked on my computer...and it was at 190 MB!
then everytime i clicked on it to refresh it...it was getting smaller and smaller! :wtf:

after a restart, i come back to 160 MB...
the fuck was this?
someone stealing my mega bytes? :lol: :p


And yes i shall uninstall it...i wish to god it doesn't kill my wee computer... :p

yes, it's most likely spyware/annoyware. kill it.

Oh, and check your really old files.

Chances are, you have several games that you never play anymore. It's suprising how much space installed games take up.

theres also a neocron file, the particular name escapes me atm but it gets huge and has no use at all. i check and delete it once every 2 weeks. the biggest size its gotten to for me was like 1.6 gb.

and "DUMBDOG.EXE"

Disappeared from my process list :p

And now i've stopped recieving popups advertising Viagra...

Sounds like thats just your page file growing. (or swap file with older version of windows)
