Anyone know a good way to get a Pro city char to doy ?
Pro city char has negative DOY sympathies. Is there a way to do it without loosing a ton of SL ??

thx

There should be a "change" run. I don't know, whether this really exists.

You'll lose sl. However most chars get stuck at -32 or -34.
I did have one guy that had to run to doy with -100 sl though.

You're best off asking a ppu to escort you to tsunami via el farid, but dont' let him get too close to you, as the doy bots with aoe will kill a capped ppu if he sticks too close to you.

You're best off asking a ppu to escort you to tsunami via el farid, ...Or a Rhino driver. But admittedly, that doesn't solve the problem of how you make it to the recruiter.

The safest, but more time consuming way is to go by way of the CityMercs.

Wait a minute. I just had a thought. The way most people do this is to create a "symp whore," a character on a 10-day-trial account from a faction that's enemy to the one you want to join, and rez kill him until you're golden. If that faction is allied to you, you lose SL big time, right? What if you have the symp whore kill a shopkeeper NPC first, so his SL is negative?

If his SL is negative you lose no soul light and you dont lose/gain faction symps.

the way to do it is with a runner who is neither positive or negative...

If you have plenty of time and don't want to mess up your symp/SL you can do missions for CM and then swap over to FA/TS/BD/CS by doing more missions for one of these factions...

The problem is the char I want to move has way negative DOY sympathy. I have found a temporary solution. I decided to PK 1 to 2 allies every day. It has been giving me one more positive DOY sympathy for every person I kill. Then I will leave my computer on all night so the SL will climb again, rinse, repeat. Kind of shitty that I have to do this. Should take me a month. Oh well.

That is what I did with my spy. But I did aggy missions to get my SL back to + and then just find more people to kill. It will take you a week if you do it this way.
