Hi,

I uninstalled NC1 a while ago to save diskspace. The idea by KK originally was to make one classic server (wasn't it?). Did this happen or are the old servers (Pluto, Uranus, Saturn, Jupiter, Venus) still up?

I am wondering now if NC1 is still running and are there some people actually playing on the server(s)?

Im sure my bro was playing NC1 a few weeks back. About 6 people still play Saturn :D

What's the official statement on this?

Every now and then I hear from someone or see someone on the forums/ingame say they logged into NC1 and that it was empty with no one around.

Yet GM's say NC1 is long gone and only NC2 exists atm.

few months ago it was up and i thought it was pretty funny :) there were like 5-6 people online saturn who couldnt get click2pay working just hanging out playing on a 5 person server wishing to join nc2... had some fun neofragging wiith em. shows you how much people are addicted to neocron..

You can still transfer chars though. I was playing NC1 no more than 2-3 weeks back. I remember 2 servers were still online one was uranus, my server. I will try to see if it still works today as well...

I just logged in now, connected as I type :D Uranus is the only server still running though, and in true NC style... I have sync bug :P One other person on it according to the server list.

ok I just logged in again today, Uranus is only server alive. The feeling is strange with its really simplistic gfx. Who is up for a last meeting? op war or something?

sad in a way, was my home for 2 years odd.

i logged on a few times just to see the old place for nostalgia really.


well i said once id be one of the last around to see the servers go down, guess it was true
