Nice articles, although I found it a little hard to read. I'm presuming it was originally in German, because its quite badly translated in places. Don't want to criticise people giving up their free time too badly though.

I hope I'm not making anybody too angry, but you seriously need to replace your American proof-reader with someone who has a better editing skills. As it is, they're averaging one glaring grammar error per story, and about one glaring spelling error every couple of paragraphs.

That's a problem as old as the first VotR that's been published. While the amount of English content by far hasn't gone past 10%, the quality of the English articles has gotten a lot better (compare a current edition to the ones from a year back - you'll see what I mean). As long as the vast majority of articles gets translated by krauts, the quality of the English VotR-Editions wont get to the level of the German one, ..language wise that is. This all combined with a bunch of very busy people and high coffeine doses leads to unavoidable grammar fuckups and the occasionaly weak expression. The Yank cocorrecting the linguistical abused articles has a HARD job.. and he's doing ok considering the all but easy circumstances. Just imagine he didnt do any of the proofreading
I agree there's still quite some space to improve in that area though :)
