Research and lvling

Thinking to reroll my spy to a researcher. Which skills increase by research, only INT or are there more skills that increase?

you get only intel xp sens for ressing.
Bad thing is like my tradeskiller who has capped intel (235/150) ressing he is still stuck on 86 base on dex because its almost impossible to lvl up with repairing :(

Same problem here,

My researcher has capped intell but wont level any other skillz, so basically leveling as a tradeskiller is still impossible, because you dont wanna level by missions, tbh tl 150 ress missions give 1300xp when your level 99 and going to 100 you need 14 mil. dunt see you get that on missions tbh, KK fix this too plz, i know you guys got alot in line, but this is very important too

I started as a droner (sens its faster to lvl) and after couple of days i lommed to tradeskiller.
I was around 85 intel lvl and dex 85.
while i did millions of xp in intel i got only 1 dex lvl and believe me i repaired stuff quite alot :p

So yeah this needs fixing, not sure how it should be fixed but...

TL150 ress missions give 1300xp when your level 99 and going to 100 you need 14 mil. thats 10770 missions to finish, only for level 99 to 100 (116924 missions to dexcapp (Dex100=152mil)). >_<
i think i get about 150k off every TL150 mission at all ... thats 1005 mission i think to INT100 o_O or did i misscalculated??
(152.000.000(INT100) / 151300(int exp + mission1.300exp) = 1005 missions)


EDIT : err ... as my resser got a breakrate of 10% at all... thats about 128.000 missions to finish to get dex100 on him :>

Thanks, how do I level DEX as a tradeskiller? I understand repairing is not viable, any other thoughts?

You can gain DEX off constructing. Thats how i've levelled DEX on my Trader.

What do you cst then in that case? i take it its not the tl 150 cst missions, because that would take for ever.

high level drones or something?

Well my Char is a Pure trader and has been levelled up that way.

INT 83, DEX 67 at present

RES Tl 167
CST Tl 167
IMP Tl 115
REP Tl 290
REC Tl 100

Now out of those he gains his DEX from CST, IMP, REP and REC.
I've never done anything to actually level DEX up like CST'ing lots of high level items, i just let it level while i am doing my trading. Building weapons for people in clan, people in TH etc.

I guess i just have a lot of patience in doing it :) But i guess it depends on what you are wanting to use the DEX points for, if its for combat then yes getting a high DEX is important, but if its trading then you only have to worry about speccing for REC and REP really.

Almost forgot, i also Drive, so getting a tank who will gun a rhino for you to go out hunting is great for levelling too with the Repairing of the rhino.

Well, I leveled all my traders by giving them enough REP/VHC to do the rhino thing, and both my CSTer and my RESer are at 80-85 DEX/INT. Plus it gives lots of techs, and R10s sell for a lot when you use a TL160 BRT on them :D

the mission-npc will give u 3 parts + a bp for constructing missions (i.e. u'll still need gel)
