Hokay so i've been using my Geforce 6800 GT since December and it's been amazing in all games including Half-Life 2 where i'm always over 100 FPS except neocron. I dont know if its the drivers i'm using (ones of nVidia website. I'm also up to date on them as well) or the settings on them or what. I get crazy FPS drops when i fire guns or someone else does in caves and my FPS just blows. like 50ish and it'll drop suddenly and come back up. Any suggestions? Maybe its my NC settings or something

I run in 1280x1024 @ 60hz (yeh thats partially why i get Bad fps but doesn't explain the 1-2 FPS when in cavs and i shoot.)

Graphics Card Information:
Processor: GeForce 6800 GT
Video BIOS Vesrion: 5.40.02.15.05
IRQ: 19
Bus: PCI x0 (My card is AGP i dunno why it says that)
Memory: 256 MB
71.84
TV Encoder Type: NVIDIA integrated

My Performance settings are:
Antialiasing - off
anisotropic filt - off
image settings - high performance
Vert sync - on (when i have it off and i zone it makes my Bandwidth shoot up ingame and lag out. don't understand that either.)

Any advice or if you wanna post your setups or drivers are greatly appreciated. thx. stay safe. drugs are bad mmkaay.

neocron is a cpu intensive game, as it has been stated many times. I didnt get great frame rates last time that I played and my setup is:

3400+ 64bit processor
1024 MB corsair 3200 ram
6800gt 256mb

lol, so unless u want to supercool ur cpu and majorly overclock it then you wont get great frame rates!

But i recommend that you keep to the most recent nvidia drivers, I got an extra 30% of performance in 3dmark05 from the most recent WHQL drivers!
