Well, as I was searching the net for something to gawk at for a bit, I got REALLY bored, and reached out on a limb for something I thought would be long gone from the web. Anywho, here is what I found, some old comics pages from Neocroncentral.com. Honestly I havnt seen this site in a long time, I wonder how long anyone else has, anyways its worth a laugh or two. here it is.

Looking at that, it seems they have brought back parts of the old HUD. Look at the health / stam / PSI meters compared with NC1 retail and now.

What goes around, comes around.

Couple of questions though:

1. What's the stuff in the chatbox all about?

2. What's with the 255 on all the weapons?

Couple of questions though:

1. What's the stuff in the chatbox all about?

2. What's with the 255 on all the weapons?

1. Being one of the original beta's, I'm guessing it's one of two things. Error checking code for the client. Possibly viewing things such as other avatars, or possibly some GM command.

2. Currently, guns and repair tools show numbers in that location.
If this were from an early enough beta, there may have been a bug on the ammo count routine, or maybe it shows a skill level for that weapon.
You'd probably have to have one of the really long term vets answer that one.

Hehe, back then, all weapons had "monk" aim, or Cone of fire, which rocked, but so sad that they changed it. (from FPS to RPG >_<)
