Without all the patches... that downloads all the patches directly from the server... that I can put on a CD to distribute?

And or some of the images...

The client without all the patches is still 1.6GB which is too large to fit on a single CD.

Setup.exe = 392KB
Setup-1.bin = 712,638KB
Setup-2.bin = 713,031KB
Setup-3.bin = 273,994KB

You still need all the patches ontop of that as well.

Burn it to a DVD-RW if you can. They hold like what, around 4gigs of data? 4.5 if you overburn'em?

i shouldnt see why not seeing as you have to buy the game every time you create an account so it should be ok. but you'll have to ask someone that actually know cos im just guessing

36 gb per dvd (if you have an industry dvd-burner)

4.7GB on a normal DVD. 8.5GB on a Dual Layer DVD. Dual's aren't really worth the money unless you absolutely need that amount of space on one disc. Otherwise you're looking at $0.50 vs $10.00.

I am reliably informed that we are. When my friend first got me into NC1 (damn him :p ) he asked KK if he could just lend me his CD. They said yes as i would still have to buy the game when i make an account.

Reakktor won't care if you share CDs. Their distributor may have a problem with it, though...
