During the maintainance, we'll release a new patch, which will update your Neocron 2 client to the same version as the client shipped for the upcoming european release.
The patch contains new sector files only, which are not connected to the game yet. This will not happen until the next patch.

Wouldn't a new MC5 map would replace the existing one anyway?

Something tells me that Darkmetal and OZ7 will never see the light of day. Or rather I would go into extreme shock if they did.

Hopefully, I just assumed that it was MC5 as they've already mentioned a re-vamp.

They did say completely new. So my guess is that it's the Zoo, maybe Darkmetal 1 and 2 (but I doubt it), and maybe Club Veronique in DoY10 (but we should be so lucky).

Other than downloading said maps, this patch doesn't do anything. We are still working on the content patch, which will be released in the near future.

I suppose it depends on where and how they are accessed (i.e. from MC5 or the CityCom?)
So nothing new that's accessible will be added today right ?

The Zoo map is ingame anyway, you just can't get in there yet.
I think ill make a new char when it goes international, just cos the n00b zones sound cool ;)
More hype about nothing (WOC, multi hack terminals, TH being a OP etc) or is something actually changing?

Yeah I jsut read the first post by CoDi. I was tired when I made the post, so I was kinda out of it.
Any hint on what new zones? Or a screenshot by chance?

By some bizzare synch bug in Open Beta (when the poulations were pushing 70% and Newbie MC5 looked like a zerg rush), I ended up inside Dark Metal and theres nothing in it. Its one of those really generic, nondescript areas, that would never get visited should it ever open. I say scrap it, redisgn it and incorporate something to do with the hateful Regant Mugant reigime(sp).

I've been sent in DrakMetal on Venus by CA faction councellor after a justice mistake :D (RP thing of course ;) - It's not me you honor ! i swear it :D )
Yes there is 2 zones that are some of the nicer i saw in Neocron entire world.
Dark, strange, with some strange inhabitants and a really nice rendered kind of radioactive/boiling water. I lost myself so much that the FC said "time to go out now :D "

You can't enter them by "normal" way. Those zones are closed.
The only possibilty is been teleported there by a GM. But i know that only the french server does it and only for Roleplay reason (really really rare).
(French server is gamemastered by a specific company - AlchemicDream )
