well, as some of you recall, I bought an AMD4000+ for £55 instead of £555, and today was the last day they had to reply to the court, they didnt, so tomorrow morning at 10am I file judgement against the people, and they have to honour the contract (i.e. i won :D) so anyhow, I'm gunna get the 4000+ and flog it on ebay for about £400, and upgrade my puter with the profit.

Memory I'm going to get is the OCZ Premier Dual Channel Kit 2x512MB DDR400 PC3200 CL 2.5-3-3-7, for about £90.
CPU an AMD64 3500+ skt 939 90mn Winchester, about £150-180

Motherboard though, I dont got a clue about. I'll have about £100-150 to spend on it, its gotta be skt 939 and support AGP (none of that pci-x or whatever that new fangled fancy thing is). Any ideas?

he should be fine with onboard lan+snd at least. mine got 1gb-lan/snd/sata-raid onboard and costed me less than 100euros (which is quite cheap for an asus here).

edit :
mate ... check the asus a8v deluxe, i like it, same's mine but i dont have the wifi-update :)

Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe.

You could pay more for the MSI K8N if you were mad I suppose but now both are available I don't see why.

/edit - arg, you want AGP o.O. I guess it's the A8V then but it's a shame to mix old and new tech like that.
