I've spent ages looking at site after site for details on how to set my LCD up properly for the best display picture. If I mess with Brightness/Contrast, XP's taskbars (Back/Forward/Stop/Refresh - where they are) turn a puke shade of green (using XP Silver desktop settin). I've tried tool after tool, squinted till my eyes started to pop out of their sockets, and still it just dont seem right, the white seems to dim, but increasing contrast makes other stuff suck big time, gah. I've set colour at 6500, I just wanna be able to view things with brilliant vibrance. Its useless looking at screenshots to compare too, my screen shows them exactly the same as my desktop, and they alter when I fiddle :(
I set the refresh to 60 too, from 75, and it works a lot better, I can scroll the forum max speed and get no ghosting at all, I just want it to look pretty much perfect. Help!!11 :p
