Whats your favorite music from the neocron2 folder, mines the credits, god it sounds cool :)
I like the easy beats of the pro city hqs music. Great for relaxing :)
id have to go with mb music..though i turned off music and now listen to internet radio as i play :p
I like the original tracks.. it reminds me of being a noob in the world of NC, also when random pking made my blood rush! and running through gabanium was dangerous.. Where ever I went i thought I was gonna get PKed..
It reminds me.. of good times, when Neocron was fun and well populated.. It reminds me.. of .. Past

i love the mb music!!! my god, that makes the biggest of carebears (like me) wanna see enemy and shoot em down!
other wise pphq is quite relaxed
If i could delete all recollections of NC and start again I would, of course it wouldnt be as fun simply because of the poplation and LE overuse.. :(

he gets it like 6times a day

I turned off the music ages ago so I could listen to my winamp stuff, can't really remember them that well.
The MB one is cool, but one of the anti city music tracks is good.

i turned the music off after about a week into NC1....
just switched it back on....MB music is cool...and Gaia mine too...

oh yeah, the title screen music is nice and atmospheric lol
For me it's just gotta be During The Dream. Coupled with the funny chatter in the background and stepping into plaza 1 for the first time, it really gives the idea that there's a fast moving, vibrant city going on all around you. That's why when I enter Doy and I hear the old wasteland tracks, it really does'nt do it for me because most of the game is wasteland/abandoned already and those tracks are heard so often.
I always considered the music of Nc some of the best in any game, and atleast a few tracks are always on my chill out playing list.

I agree, During the Dream with the city SFX makes a good atmospheric tone. Leaving the room with that playing makes me feel in NC in rl

usic turns off soon after intallation.
i likedthe MB music in nc2 beta... tough it was 2 tracks over each other (is it still?)
i listen to my own music (stoner rock) and/or ventrillo... with sound effects on about 20%
"Rising from the red sand" and "Night caravan" (which i ve never heard ingame)
I like the MB music myself.

I mostly liked the work from Ian Boddy. tbh lately I've reoriented myself to progressive and ambiental music, something to listen to while I work. I've expended my collection of Ian Boddy, Max Corbacho & Steve Roach, and I have to admit KK picked out some really cool artists ;). but whoever listend to Style3.track1.mp3 got addicted to it, heared where I got it from, and bought NC... music, it's such a strange tool :S.

Heh, i do like most music in this game, but My REAL favorite NC music would have to be the song to the FIRST NC trailer, but sadly My computer had to be re-formated and I lost the song. Do any devs or anyone have the link to that song? Its the best cyberpunk song that was (technically) in this game.

The limit to nc2 is 18 just because other wise they cant sell it in US :p And i met people thats 10 and 11 O_o
And I thought that I was one of the youngest people playing :lol:.
Gotta admit i luuuuurve the ProtoPharm HQ music, sometimes ill go into that zone just to chill. :cool:
The FA HQ music is nice too as is MB's, but it's a little too "in your face" when you're trying to hear the ppl on ventrillo so unless im playing alone, i turn music off.
As for memories of NC1, i do remember the "empty hallway" style of music that plays in the aggie cellars. Memories indeed! And the african style music with the vocals that plays in the desert. I used to explore the desert while being absolutely terrified of DoY bots, and the vocals that played were quite haunting.

Max Corbacho - Open Horizons. ( maxcorbacho-open_horizons.mp3 ) I'm not sure if I ever heard this track in NC1, but I definatly heard this track more when NC2 came along.
And I thought that I was one of the youngest people playing :lol:.
My Little Bro, Know as Zion, is pretty young his Bday is on the 7th August 1990.. so hes younger ;)
Also saza was pretty young.. but I aint really spoke for two years.. I guess hes bout 15 now?
