My credit card expired in October & now Click [ edited ] have realised they can't take payment!

4 identical e-mails from them with typos and I'm none the wiser.

I got my password but how the hell am I supposed to remember my user name? Any of you folks with previous problems know how I can get it?

Ok that worked & I'm in my account. I need to update my credit card expiry date but there doesn't seem to be an option to.

Am I gonna have to cancel my agreement & start over etc? Argh!!

no there is no option .. i had the exact same thing but it got solved quickly and flawlessly luckely :)

what you need to do is send a mail to the helpdesk (helpdesk@neocron.com if im correct) with youre problem, in my case they immediatly connected me with a kind person of the C2Psupportteam where i explained my problem again and she told me she was going to remove my CC so i could put in the correct data ... a second later this was done and so i put in the correct data :)

then it was waiting till mine got autoreactivated (some time later) i could still play then :) ... after 2 weeks i got a mailing that my transaction failed so i mailed the same person of the supportteam and no kidding 2 seconds later i got a mail back and the woman of the supportteam told me it was fixed :) (a sec later i got a second mail to confirm that) and tadaa i can play :)

Good luck, I had the same trouble as you.....needed to update CC info and couldn't find the update page (more like there was no way to update info at the time) about 30 days of no play but problem was solved make sure you email KK along with C2P.

I had this problem too just contact c2p there actully very fast and helpfull when they can help you.

If you want to add a NEW credit card just go to www.click2pay.com and login to your account with your EMAIL ADDRESS and your password.
Click on ACCOUNT - PAYMENT METHODS and ADD. Choose credit card, enter your details, hit save and call or write an email to service@click2pay.com to let them know that you entered a new credit card.

If you want to UPDATE your credit card or bank account - call C2P or send an email to service@click2pay.com and the old details will be deleted. After you get their confirmation go to www.click2pay.com and login to your account. Click on ACCOUNT - PAYMENT METHODS and ADD. Enter your details, hit save and call or write an email to service@click2pay.com.

Thanks for the help. I got an e-mail back from support@neocron.com stating that is SHOULD be as simple as going to C2P website and updating my card details. As posted above, this seemingly function doesn't exist! And as for trying to re-enter my card no. with the new date, I get a message saying that the card number is already in sue (yes cause it's my sodding card!)

I'll try e-mail C2P but I haven't tried yet to the fact that most people think they're totally useless!

As I said before when you want to UPDATE your card i.e. change the expiry date you have to contact C2P first because the old card has to be removed before you can enter the (same) details again. So go ahead and email them... It should not take longer than 1 hour to get your account up and running again.

1 hour? Lol, they must've really liked you methinks. I know I'm on a whine here, but why the fuck does it take so long to get this sorted? I work for a credit card issuer (a pretty big one at that) and I know that once a retailer gets your card details, they're usually pretty quick to request authorisation from your card, so why the hell can I still not play ffs! But then I say usually and we are talking about C2P after all. Sigh...

The hour was just a rough guess considering the following steps:

- you contact C2P to remove your "old" credit card details
- they delete your "old" credit card details and contact you again
- you enter your new card details and contact them again
- they activate your card and open your NC account again ...

Might be done faster ... who knows.

But the important question is whether or not you already contacted them ;)

And - to have a little fun with it - why don't you stop the time from the minute you send your email until you get the confirmation that your NC account is active again ??? LOL

Just add the new card FFS then send them an email and they will replace the last four digits of you're old card with the new ones. I takes 30 mins up to an hour they even say sorry in the email that sometimes the credit card changing method sometimes does not work

You've already not read this Lil T as my card number is the same, it's just the expiry date that needs changing. I've done everything that I need to do but even .com companies grind to a halt over the weekened.... :rolleyes:

I've just had pretty much the same problem with click2pay, the switch card that i was using expired at the end of 04. Because of this.. i had a failed payment on one of my accounts.. Took a good few days of emails/phonecalls to c2p until i was finally able to add the new card to my account. (Couldn't add the card without them removing it from their system as it has the same number or summot like that..)
Anyway, after all that and finally getting the old card removed and the new card added to my account with its new expiry date..Everything should have been fine.. What happens now? They failed to take payment again and they've now closed my account. They now tell me i gotta contact them yet again about the outstanding amount ffs...

All this just to play a fuckin game is stupid tbh, and i refuse to have to keep contacting them every single time i need to renew an account because of their fuckups. I shall most likely be pressing the cancel button on one of my 2 accounts cos if it.

I had a similar problem to Maester Seymour's... My account is closed ATM... I just got off the phone with Click2Pay... maybe they should be renamed "Click2PayThenCall2PayThenRespondToNumerousEmails2PayThenCall2PayThenWaitUntilTomorrow2Pay"

I was going to change from Click2Pay to PayByCash today BUT
PayByCash charges an additional 8.99 EUR for a licensing fee (that I already paid for with C2P back when NC2 was released)
On TOP of that 8.99 EUR "licensing fee" that PBC charges, they charge an ADDITIONAL $25 for an Efund transfer!!!!!?!?!?!

Click2Pay STILL SUCKS but

Could it get any worse? Next time I'm just cancelling my accounts and leaving Neocron for another MMORPG --even if it's that stupid cartoonish one where you shoot arrows and get slain by elves...

I personally have had many problems with click 2 play. Of all the MMORPGs out there that I have played (10) the click 2 play company is by far the worst.

Mind you I'm not by ANY means pimping C2P (Which btw suck if I didn't mention it ;) ) but that extra $25 EUR = $33 USD = teh kill.

In case C2P has debited your account properly (good feckin' luck with THAT one) ---after the debit goes through, you need to launch the NeoLauncher and click on:
"Your Account"
then reactivate it.
