FUN - GM EVENT :)
"You never saw a GM ingame, not even to talk about taking one down with a lil' plasma donation?"
Did you ever feel like hunting down a GM ? Did you ever feel like doing whats usually forbidden?
Feel like proving, that you can beat a GM easily? You still question, that there are more than just a few GMs, ...just because you dont see them?
If thats the case, WAKE UP !!!!!!
Hunting BlackIvory through the Outzone, disturbing Radaway's spawning, smacking to ground Mokoi,
chevy Chenoa in the Wastes, giving Arbiter a taste of your HL, destroying Ferron's beloved vehicle,
PK Parzival in Plaza-I, show Carbonite what AoE feels without godmode, give
Plasmastorm a new meaning to the name, let Sandbender bite the dust, follow Shadowvipers shadows and whatever
insanity comes to your mind....
Is that part of your agenda?
Good ! Because now we will twist things arround.
Starting 14.02.05, you'll find one GM per day teasing you via public channels.
Business as usual some might say - only that, this time you are free to take revenge and kill him !
BUT: make sure to pick up the dogtag !
Why? Easy thing.. the one who delivers the most GM Dogtags to me at the end of the contest will receive a special reward !
Only little side-note: They will defend themselves..so watch out !
RULES:
- Collect as many GM dogtags as possible !
- The GMs will have godmode turned OFF (quite logic)
- The GMs will give hints via public channels
- Every Day one(!) GM on all servers
- Englisch GMs will speak English on the German servers/ Germans will speak
English on the English Servers
- After the GM has been taken down - please don't forget to return to the
usual manner towards GMs (godmode will be on and GMs wont appreciate you for
keeping them from work) :P
Prize (only one winner per server//In case two or more runners end up having the same amount of dogtags stashed, weŽll decide by drawing lots):
- Zagerusbelt (1 per server - you might know its one of the rarest thingies ingame!)
- WeeCrab-Family in your App ;)
- GM Party ;) (Date will be announced later)
PS: We are aware of the fact, that this event is mainly aimed at high-level players. Anyhow, we received so many requests for such a kind of event... that we'll run it anyway. However, lowbies are free to participate as well of course... team up with other players.

With 255 in every skill, who needs a Dimension Splitter? What weapons will the GMs be using? Hopefully not Holy Shelt/Def/Heal/Lightning? Or the DEX 200 guard rifles?? O_o
Only one "Outstanding" level weapon will be allowed and some anti-glue/anti-poison will also be allowed. I already said there'd be no s/d etc.

meh... con resists cap at 114 and hlt caps too...

lol armor and s/d doesnt do anything, gms run fucking fast :lol: you can't even keep up with then :D Rmber we killed a GM with the termi event, and tried to hack there belt :) after many tries I hacked it.... and it had a med kit :lol:
But unfortunatly i'd have to say: Fix the Char transfer for PBC first!! otherwise I can't play anyways

How long do you want me to wait for you to get it right. ;) When English GMs are on the German servers they will speak in English. That's mainly because we're hopeless at languages. As for the German GMs.... well you will play on a German server, what do you expect?

J'espere ne pas avoir ce genre d'event sur Pandore, il n'y a aucun contenu, aucune histoire a par tapper sur un GM. Essayer de faire un event à la running man,à mon avis c'est plus intelligent ou d'autres event parce que ca pour moi, ca ce resume à ... pas grand chose en restant polie.

I think Nidhogg needs to clarify the post about no Psi modules being used by the GM's. Was he was meaning no S/D or heal or no Psi weapons?
Makes a difference in which of my characters I use to kill him. ;)
Me being me and all, first thing I think of is ... why would I engage in the warfare when the prize is the tags.... so I stealth during the battle, wait my moment and steal the tags - since I am BD and we lie cheat and steal - this is true role playing ....
I really dunno what the belt gives or the us eis, so i aint takin part (I watch trade a couple of time, and never seen anyone pushing it either)

heh, my friend was a PPU and he healed and buffed the GM and killed everyone that tried to kill the GM. it was hilarious.

Well buffing with s/d with make they're defences better (95% absorbtion compared with 68%, according to the skill manager).
At the Xmas event when the GMs were running about in the different zones, me and Buju got there, but after SI my PA didn't activate on my PE, so he chased Arbiter around the zone paraing him and trying very hard not to let him get away, whilst I went back to the city to get a drug, and come back and gank him :lol:
This even should be good fun, as long as it goes on for long enough so that at least one person gets more than one tag and there isn't a tie between 3/4 people.

hehe "i" got arbitter tonight ^^ was t3h fun.. was close by cause i just rezzed somebody at an op.. and hearing the hints i knew were he was.. so i went there and found him.. only had no soulcluster on me haha..
so i spended a while paraing / dmg boost / boxing him.. finally some apu i called on TS came to kill him :p hehe but was fun none the least ^^

Yes they do. It's fun trying to NF a GM with holy s/d and heal and the fully caped resists when he is useing a xbow or CS :lol:.

Can't answer the PvP question for anyone but myself, and I usually get into a couple fights with people everytime I play on my priv chars.
As for 255 in CON Skills. We can't go over the 114 cap, so even tho we have 255, it's the same as someone having 114.
The reality of it is, when were doing this event we are weaker then 90% of the players who come after us. We're relying on our base resists, with no armor, no heal beyond what a medikit gives, no shelter, no deflector. We're given 1 weapon, some medikits, and some anti-drugs.
You can cheat after a fashion though - one GM was a wee crab. But a Wee Crab that goddamn hurt.
I only hope someone is in the right place at the right time and gets footage of Carb, Lupus, and Nid getting ganked :p

After Phaze got well and truly hammered, and his belt well and truly hacked, he popped up back to life. I didn't see anyone rezzing at the time, so i assume Mokoi did it while invisible.
Unfortunately, he was silly enough not to turn on godmode again and one of our party damage boosted him while he was still on low health. I thought, "what the hell" and ganked him again. :D
I had a second dogtag very briefly, but had to give it back though :(
Note to GMs: running away doesn't save yer asses, just turn invisible real quick ;)

Niddy had a damn good hideout on mercury. Took us about 20-30 mins to find him. When I found him he had LE in... I blame his age. :p
While waiting for him to take his LE out we told him, we wouldnt kill him if he gave us 3 milky rens. Well, he wouldnt do that so he died. You brought it up to yourself :p
He wouldnt even give us Milky Rens when we told him we would post the screenshot of him being dead!

Yeah, I produced that especially because I knew it would get dropped - it wasn't even capped with GM skillz. I'd flown it around a bit, dropped it, picked it back up and then started to check chat (for some reason I get a blank white window where chat should be :/)... then I was getting shot! My one and only weapon was in my inventory and by the time I managed to deploy it it was way too late. Ah well. :) Well done to all the people who killed me (I'm sure there will be plenty of jealous people out there ;) ) and commiserations to the two people I managed to kill first. :p

I dunno, doesn't the zargerus belt give loads of Xray resist? If so, it will be better than the heavy deflector belt my PE uses when warbot / DoY bot hunting. The heavy def belt gives +10 xray, btw. Only the highest level crahn belt gives more xray, and that's monk only.

It's not enough though, the med energy belt is still a better option for PEs.
Spies and monks get the heavy belts.
