I've decided to bite the bullet and sort myself out a nice looking case and all the stuff inside it.

So I've had a little look around, and damn there is too much choice for the typical person who cant be arsed to faff around O_o

The case, well I dont know really, the case I'm using is a sturdy bugger and does look rather cool, so I might just keep it, and figure out a template design for the side window, get it cut out and shove some perspex on it, along with a nice LED flashy fan thingymabob, my PSU is a Q-Tech gold 400Watt Dual Fan job, so its up to the task, and is gold, with 2 fans. I also have room inside the case for a large (dont ask me sizes, I dunno) fan, just above the AGP slot (if anyone knows the size). Also appears that I can stick another fan at the front in the bottom, so getting a new case isnt needed.

Memory, well I'm thinking heat spreaders, I did find some that are gold, but thought BLING and decided I dont want a chav PC, so am thinking going for some nice blue ones. Was thinking of getting 2 of them Crucial 512MB jobs with the dancing lights, but I'm cheap, I'll be upgrading my ram to DDR400 soon enough anyhow, so am thinking heat spreaders, but have no idea!

Do I want, Aluminium, Copper, or Copper/Gold? What kind of thermal properties am I looking at in a heat spreader for Memory (I wont be OC'in at all, its not my thang).

Wires, wires are the bane of my life!! So I'll be removing the nice IDE cables and fitting in the really thin jobs, can you get them in blue too?

Heatsink, hmm, ya, I'm gunna rip off my heatsink and fan off my AMD, and I'm going to shove on a nice ballbearing fan, with flashy lights! I also want to get one of them frontal 5 1/2inch temp monitor jobs to stick in the front.

The front really cant have too much, ok anything, done to it, maybe a new floppy drive with a cover, and maybe I can get the case (apart from the blue bit) sprayed.

I actually managed to find a photo of my case on google, omg!

http://www.bestofmicro.com/img/c/I222899.jpg

So maybe the template I use to cut out the side (am thinking eastern influence, maybe a chinese dragon curling around the centre which will be the flashy fan) could be sprayed onto the front?

Ok, so far, its a central fan for the case, one for the back and one for the front, a couple of RAM heat spreaders, a new CPU heatsink/fan with flashy lights and wires, probably all in blue, or maybe the dragon light in red, rawr, go wales! Umm, so am I missing anything? No, water cooling isnt on the list of things to to! Though I guess I could.. err.. nah, no water cooling :p

memory::if you're not overclocking (http://www.pcwcomponentcentre.co.uk/invt/phtsppurvtobx) aluminium is fine, these are easy to use and look nice aswell (just don't buy gold, you my aswell just paint it burberry tbh lol)

case mods:: these are a must if you're not changing your optical drives (http://www.pcwcomponentcentre.co.uk/invt/cmafpu02)

They never give you enough time to edit these posts, I demand 24 hours :p

Anyhow, I've been checking around, first I wanted to cut open the front of my case, shove an LTP LCD display in there and really go to town.

Now though, I found a programme called LCD Smartie, which I was going to use with the nice LCD Display, but that just aint good enough anymore, my aim now is to get my mobile which runs Microsoft Smartphone 2002 (essentially Windows CE) to act as the LCD display, and maybe get the keypad lights to... light up, omg awsome! Anyone know if its possible? :o

I'm going to have to wait for the CPU fan cause when I win and get my 4000+ its socket 939 and I'm currently socket A :( so its cables and fans, and this bloody LCD display is doing my nut in, not sure I could get my smartphone to do the job, too many options and its late and i'm tired and i'm going to sleep, merry xmas <3
