On a capped spy with CST imps - about 110-120 should be enough IIRC.

It varies a bit depending on imp setup of course.

Should Const of 2x the TL of the weapon cap it ....

May not garauntee slots though, but then neither does thorwing a dice

yea but as said afaik today it aint only cst skill that counts also the ammount of dex / int you have.. wouldn't know tho should wait for an awnser from a die hard cster :p

140 CST including imps should be enough, if you have good DEX and INT.
But you can try it out yourself easily by bulilding a Raptor Drone. It hast tech level 120 and a bulid cap of 79%.

well im lvling a droner and her int and dex are leveling at the sameish rate,
the dex is about quarter of the way behind.

so when i cap int dex shouldnt be too far behind.

so far i got 100 cst
50 ress
60willpower
and 30 brt which i intend to lom.
no imps no armor
and dex and int are at 56
so im halfway there :)

i also want to be able to ress alot of stuff.

between 80 dex / int and cap i tend to have 180.

at cap i tend to lom to 140.

but everyone has their own "magic formula" :D

With my little spy I tried making a Tangent Plasma Cannon (TL84). I was 1% off capping quality. This was at int 59 (+3), dex 45 (+2) and cst 126(+20).
Got no slots out of a few attempts, so I guess well off the slot chance cap.
Hope that info is of some use to you.

so they say, but if i were to make a tl20 item with 30 cst and 10 int so that all the items come out with bad quality, what would be the chance of ever gettin a 5 slotter? ;)

Unfortunately, it does not work like this for low level items. A nice "Consterlady" once built an Archer Companion for me, it is TL 13 and she had 94 CST at the time.
The result was good but NOT capped (unmodded stats around 73). Rule of thumb: you need around 100 CST before you can make marketable stuff.
Too much IMHO, but thet's KK's decision :-(

Once you reach quality cap it's all luck*, below that quality matters.


* - OK, not quite "all" but the difference is so small even GM stats make no noticable difference.
