I was bored today (finasl) so i worked out some NC stats. Anyway i was working out the con. setup for a PE. First off, what is more important, Resists or Body Health?

Here's the setup i came with:

(this is for a capped PE with no imps, btw)

Athletics: 50
Body Health: 50
Endurance: 25
Resist Fire: 50
Resist XRay: 50
Resist Poison: 50
Resist Energy: 50

Would this be a good setup, or should some resists be sacrificed for more Body Health, or other resists?

you'd want to base the resists on what armor you wear, and drop the End for BH which i'd suggest setting at 75

other factors are what weapon class your looking into, using a PPR or not and which resist booster your drugging into plus what combat drugs suits your setup

for example if your rifles or pistols, you'll get a nice ENR from the PA, also matching runspeed, like rifles slow down more than pistols, so you'd want to tweak your ath/agl

going low-tek will wield you a nice overall resist setup, high HP and able to disregard the nasty MC insta-poison

this would also be doable with HC or MC PE, alltho 3 or more drugs are recommended here (rc/pc can settle for 2)

Unless you are speccing str imps for inq3, lowtech does not give you much advantage over high tech people with something like a BS or judge.

I have no idea what armor or imps because i just figured this out (with pencil and paper even) at school between finals -- yeah i was that bored. I only knew how much Con a PE had.... no idea about armor or anything yet.

btw, this PE is a driver so he'll use HC

I was thinking of going low-tech with advanced movement controller, dumping a load of con into ath and about 30 into end with BQ chest and using a libby.

i'm not against them. I personally haven't used them that much yet in NC. Though it seems that eventualy their use may become practically mandatory for me.

What resists (given the "standard" PE set up) are more important than others? (ie since PE PA gives Energy resist, should i take some points out of it and put them somewhere else? X-Ray perhaps?

Also, you guys have said endurance is a waste (i suppose that's due to the ease whith which stamina boosters can be acquired/made) where should those points go?

Given the 'standard' PE types of armour, the biggest resist spending you will have is going to be in xray, probably up to 50 base or more depending on imps.
Something like, Moveon, ppr, zerk3, Targeting comp 3(for the WEP), harden back bone, hc3 eye.

Problem with HC PE setups is that you won't be using any medium belts in all likelyness.

Without drugs, the above gives you 73 str.

Depends if you wanna go all out str though and get enough to gun a rhino.
Without the ppr it might sting though.

umm no... you can poke your marine in with just a beast. You will need to relog every time you GR though :(

Yeah I just remberd that I did have to use 3 drugs to get it in (imps havent poped for a long time now!). Well thanks for pointing that out.
