TG Canyon

Does anyone else Miss TG Canyon?


Not only was it a great place to Level with a constant Flow of people in the cave but it was a good place to Hang around and chat and an even better place to raid or Help defend.

I spent 40% of time in canyon in nc1, now i dont bother going there for a few reasons:


1:Gank fest anywhere around CRP or Canyon.
2:No Good team in Choas caves only at catlock and CRP and if you do go there you have 90% of chance getting pked (unlike in nc1 where crahns and FA wouldnt attack each other in caves).

3:Canyon/CRP has no GOGO or shops by it so you have to run for a while just to buy what you want.



Basically Now i regret Tg being blown to bits in nc1... it was a good place to go.

But now it just sucks.

(also if you look at the DOY trailer you will see that they have a scene in TG canyon like how i used to be but isnt like that in actual nc2)

I Think the Anarchy Breed should move in there and make it there home, theyve been so long in those shabby tents in the wilderness I for one would like to see them get in out of the cold :)

Another great location full of potential going to wastem just like Dark Metal if its in game we should be able to use it.

when i was TG allie it was great place to hang in the old days with MiG on saturn, then it was a great place to raid when i became TG enemy.

shame a cool place like that has gone to waste, they should of left TG there in there canyon imo

I heart a rumor that TG will get their canyon back but I dont know if its true.

Why cant there be more places like the canyon or CRP, eg
- Point Red with some easier mobs in the underground and an apartment entrance
- the village north of Jeriko(Crest village?), with apartment entrance and a new cave

Why dont people go into the outzone? There should be more mid level mobs like launchers and some rare-droppers.

TG canyons rocked. but not its just a mass void of nothingness surrounded by raptors and ugly scorps and what ahve you

I went there once to get an apt for one of my characters so I could gr in whenever I needed something from the smugglers. No other reason to visit these days.

woulda been nice if they made TG an op with 2 hack points
hack both places but without the new hacknet thingy and you own it
Hell they could add turrets which runners can use, would make it a place
where all of DoY/NC would have to attack to own the op.

The clan who gets the last hack gets there name on it, but anyone on the
same side can gr to it. that side would also get a high bonus to cst, ress, rep
and poke also just for the hell of it.

Put the ug in that place in the middle thats been always closed off.
In there you could add places that sell cheap ass ammo and newb weapons

If it gets attacked everyone on the defending side is told
[xtra thingy] could prolly even make it so Le'd runners can join in there also,
so they get the feel for the pvp side and see if its for them.

hell you could do the same with regents so both empire has a key area which
can be taken at any time

In my current brainwave mode this would make the empire vs empire idea
more real than it just being in the F6 window

btw im drunk so if this is shit feel free to flame :p

as far as i can tell, thats what the original plas were gonna be for TH and TG Canyon, but bringing regants into it would rock, regants would be like planetside cave fighting ownage :D put like 3 sectors inside darkmeta, 1 like a factory, a mine and a lab, showing that regants legacy was kinda self sufficient, with a fortress guarding the way into it.

Could also lead to new areas inside hacknet, representing the canyon and regants with nea boss mob areas planned like the TH area.
