Is there any decent way of emulating a DOS operating system to play some of my old games? Some of them will just about run on this pos XP system, but getting sound to work is impossible (the SET BLASTER line in autoexec.bat doesn't seem to work anymore :p )
Anyone know how to get DOS games running (with soundblaster emulation) in XP?
You can try dosbox (http://dosbox.sourceforge.net), it already supports a lot of classic games.
depending on the game you want to play there may be a better emulator though like scummvm (http://www.scummvm.org) for old lucas arts SCUMM games.

Funny, I was actually after it for my old Lucasarts games. Thanks! :D
Some of these have already been said but check this page for more (and some info)

I've been using dosbox myself, and been very satisfied with the software. :)
