Right then, me and my mates are gonna make some random shite with a video camera for the hell of it, lol and so i was wondering whats the best software to use to edit video? with the ability to do blends and transitions and add sounds to it and stuff and ofcourse do the norm chopping up of the video.

Any help would be apprechiated, thanks.

this been asked a week ago check a bit down here .. the moviemaker 2 (free download from microsoft for winXP) does a nice job indeed, its simple/basic, doesnt crashes THAT much .. and free !

if ya need more options, more tracks for the sounds, more advanced transitions etc then ya gotta go to premiere pro from adobe (my favourite) or other software like pinacle, final cut pro etc .. (free demo's available)

google will help you with most of em :)

Adobe premiere Pro - Sweetness in a jar - you might have to "procure it" But I am in now way advocating piracy  (Take that Niddy! :p )
