Interested in the community's opinion of this.

Change grenades from a HC item to MC.

HC runners already have AoE weps and the arm motion of MC is more like a throwing motion than lifting a cannon on to your shoulder.

This would add a tactical element to Melee rather than just run and slash, also i can't imagine it would change the balance too much. Though I would like to see Lupus weigh in on this, as this sort of thing seems to be his domain.

nobody use granades for other reasons them a cool armour outfit.

i would better kill a doomie with a stiletto them a bunch of TG grenades.

But that is what melee is. If its a distance weapon, then its not melee.

I do like the idea of dumping the TG grenades and making a low tec melee epic item.

Grenades as needing M-C sounds quite nice. Otherwise, you could just make grenades need only pure STR, making things ever so much simplier all around.

If a weapon is projectile in anyway then it can't be melee tbh.

I do agree that an alternative to the TG epic should be considered (and BD maybe?)

melee is strong enough atm. if you want to do area dmg, make a hc tank. it couldnt be more simple.

Personally I'd like to just see grenades fixed first. After that I'd like a way for ALL classes to use them (maybe STR->range and DEX->accuracy or something).

Grenade Launchers should be RC. Just look at them in-game and tell me that wasn't the way they were designed.

Just look at them in-game and tell me that wasn't the way they were designed.at least there should be ballistic weapons for rifle skills, like the rifle-grenades in half-life etc. my suggestion: leave the lotec nades to the tanks and bring on something more techie for the riflers.

Make Grenade Launchers rifle
Make two options for TG Epic reward. Grenades and throwing knives
(YOU KNOW YOU WANT THROWING KNIVES)
Boost Grenade damage by 75%
Give black dragon a cool epic grenade launcher (if they make it rifle)

I didn't even get anything for doing the BD epic coz the fucking NPC won't talk to me

Throwing knives :rolleyes:

Here's a little scenario, do epic for "cool thowing knife" Put it in slot. equip and go look for bad guys. Get into fight, select target, kick fire button. Then DM target "Hi can I get my knife back, it took me for ever to finish the epic?"

I also wonder how hard it is to give grenades 5-20 stacks.. You know every other game has it.... "select 4 and tap the mouse button"..
