KK you need to fix the bugs in the game. i know this has probably been said many times before but it is very true. many people are quitting for other games and i for one do not want to see neocron die. hire more programers or something. you know the saying, "it takes money to make money" well that saying applies here. you guys are starting to advertise in other countries. what do you think the new customers will do when they pay 11 dollars for this game or whatever currency then they fatal. over and over again they fatal or get some other mystery bug. well im guessing they will quit nc which will make all your time wasted. so you should focus on fixing all the bugs in nc. once all the bugs are fixed... advertise. o_O
some of the bugs are rather humoristic, and THATS something NO OTHER GAME on the market can say...

the bugs are annoying, true, but the fact is there arent anyother games like NC, i cant stand hack and slash, Prokect Entropia is shit, PS gets boring, EvE was too slow for me, and atm im sorta enjoying the free AO, but i wuldnt pay for it...i wont quit as is, but if KK really do some stupid shit...who knows
i know neocron is the only pvp of its kind but. noobs are gonna come and they arent gonna get to fight really. they will be leveling and then ooh fatal. they will get pissed at that shit and quit because they wont know the joy of the neocron pvp.

i dont intend to quit NC... but i am spending more and more time on other games.
ive only got a nib on Rimor, got a lvl 47 Tank on Atlantean tho, about 5 of us from the IRC channels started at once

been playing for a few hours straight? you need a break. oh whats that you won't take one? here let us close the game for you with a run-time.
or how about that keen bullet-time like effects of less ram? the more populated a fight is, more ram is used and yet NC is kind enough to slow things down for you with this reduced ram amount thanks to the memory leak and you too can be like Neo slow-motion dodging bullets as the FPS slows to a craw!

Seems for examples the fatals got lots to do with your computer setup too.
I do not get many fatals at all and other ppl get lots of them.
Same with rightclick bug.I get that maybe once a month when other get it several times a day

couldn't agree more, out of the 67 individual people we had in my 1st clan (Imposing Order) there's only me, Sel and Goodhead left, and i dont see sel at all in game....

Yeah, take a look at any of the clans made up of players who were around for ages. I am gonna pick on PAIN, seeing as I was once under that banner.
PAIN was made up of: Brotherhood of -CRAHN- (Black Rose and UnforgiveN combined) and Cartel/ShadoW. Now, in NC1 Cartel dissolved because Zoneseek quit NC (as I understand although anyone who knows better can correct me) and ShadoW was formed with (most) of the remaining members. BoC was formed when Black Rose and UnforgiveN start becoming less and less active, so they merged to simplify things. Come NC2, over half of Black Rose, UnforgiveN and ShadoW have left/been inactive for too long.
So PAIN emerges as one of the only clans with players from Saturn that have been playing a while. And now, most of them left (even those that got banned were on their way to another game) and all you have left is about 10 (out of what must have been 50-70 Black Rose/U4N/ShadoW members in NC1) active people playing. Thats one hell of a cut down in long term players.
I am even thinking of going over to WoW when it comes out in Europe, as right now not enough of the people I enjoy playing NC with (Black Rose and U4N peeps :( ) play anymore for one reason or another, so its just "same shit, different day" right now.
Good thing NC2 was marketed as a new game, because by the time the publishers have finished pissing about all the NC1 players will have left, so there will be no one around to say "back in the day of NC1 and Pepper Park 1).

maybe 3 of NCAT have quit, and we got about 3 inactives (2 nothing to do with NC2, more RL stuff)
and the majority of us (NCAT + VENOM) were early retail / beta.
and MkV Jestunhi is level 7 i think, ill prolly be on tomoz :p

Yea, we as SXR used to have a fair number of People online... Slowly we've lost all the old guard, theres not many of us left, and FN the clan leader and elison Muerte a long standing vet, quit not 2 days ago...
Where does the future of SXR in neocron lead?
its not bright thats for sure... but then SXR is a community now rather than a NC game, yes we got new blood coming thru, but the loss of players due to quitting is higher than the gain of new guys.
this "Theres no other game like us" attitude has gone to your heads, it may be correct but that does not allow you the arrogance to treat customers like retards, and keep a buggy game running with the minimum cost effective staff... Poor codi, let him have a friend to help him in those long coding hours.... other wise Atari may read these threads and pull out rather sharpish, then what? sell it to microsoft....
oh and while im here, Get rid of Click2Pay, yea i know their german, and i know theres that national pride bollox... but world pay is in a different league to that dodgy gambling site of a payment method, you germans maybe happy with it but the rest of they world would rather have their anal hairs plucked out one by one by a transsexual rugy player called ruby

My guess is that KK arent happy at all, I mean they must have noticed the countless clicktopraythreads, people saying fu im gone because of paying troubles. But theres these things called contracts :rolleyes:
Maybe they should have gotten more info on c2p before entering a business relationship with them (all that gambling/casino involvement would have made me somewhat suspicious.... :wtf: )
iirc KK new about the gambling etc, and contracts work both ways

Well a *certain game* will hit open beta before the 28th of January so even though its a different to nc in many ways i reckon many people will leave if its in anyway decent at all.
So KK has about a month to sort NC out then the shit will hit the fan... :eek:

if nc got its act together it not even close,mind you it was still in testing( well nc2 = nc gold beta ) so cant say how the other game is now

what is it with people liking simplistic graphical games? i mean, i prefer gameplay over graphics myself, BUT i do enjoy some eye candy, a little at least. nc2's are rather, bleh. FoM has screenies that look like they are out of something really old like Tomb Raider 1....

Well, he may have crashed twice in the space of a week, however as he expects a game at retail stage to not have these kind of errors in he will make it sound like he gets a lot more than he actually does.

I know it makes a lot of n00bs quit, it just doesn't help when you overexaggerate because if some n00b comes on the forums and reads that he could fatal as quickly and as often as you have stated, they may leave as they don't wanna play a game that is said to fatal that often.

You said yourself that FREing sucks and it causes n00bs to leave, which implies that you care n00bs are leaving. I've had the program crash that much sync etc etc in one evening before, and other days it works fine with no problems at all. Same goes with another guy i play with. And we are boths techs so nothing is wrong with our systems. The only system that is fuked up is the game.

Sure there's gonna be a lot of happy customers coming from that no mention of DOY anywhere so like people gonna buy that then find they can dl nc2 for nothing and have a small trial and then if they want upgrade.
Just made me laugh browsin through the sales saw nc for a fiver and thought if nc1 was still running i'd have brought that just as a spare incase i wanted a 3rd acc or something.
But then thinking if ppl see that the nc1 classic servers should get some players and those who log and see 0 0 0 3 0 players are gonna think well of it all lol

I'd say tat for most people Neocron crashes once for every approx 2-3 hours of play in the wastelands, and something lie 4-5 in the city - this is based on the experience of myself and my levelling buddies.

I'd say that was fairly accurate. I think I FRE once every 3-4 hours inside the City, and a lot less in the Wastes. I also don't suffer from a huge memory loss unless I have been running two clients on the same machine and run around the city.
But then again, I Alt+F4 to change accounts/characters anyway to insure I always have enough free memory, and I am running 2gigs of it.
