Ok, I have a GRIM CHASER on my head, i fatal every 20 mins, i cant zone, i just got kicked off the server and the epics are lying to me.... I have 2 accounts and im considering canceling them seeing as terra is always going down and we are getting no love for it, yes its christmas but isnt this game meant to be 24/7? Even still we wouldnt be having problems if there wasnt so many bugs in the first place! :/

Pull your finger out KK :) there are bugs on this game which have been there since BETA :/

Hang on guys the so called first class treatment is because problem is with terra somehow and not effecting the german 4 slot...if you call first class treatment it not going wrong then fair enough but I dont fully see it like that.

Sure KK should into why this effects terra and not the german one and troubleshoot it from there. But to once again accuse they of hating the int. community because one server is up but the other is down is plain silly imo.

Ok KKs comms aint amazing but it's the holidays and theres bound to be some effect on the service levels over the holiday season, if you want amazing service all the time then you would probably end up paying for it...ending in more moans.

I'm not a fanboi...I have my issues with KK, but come on favoring the german community? ha I think the issue is that alot of people see the germans playing and terra has had a hicup the last few days it happens it shouldn't but it probably happened at the worst time ever xmas eve with ppl going out far and wide to visit family.

I expect at lvl3 they have cover for the network and boxs/clusters etc but KK need to admin it and thier specialist could be all over the country possibly outside of the country and need to be contacted and then paid to come in.

Official thread is here (http://neocron.jafc.de/showthread.php?p=1722101). No ETA. My personal hunch is that it'll get rolled back to the 22nd or 23rd and it won't be up and running properly until Wednesday or Thursday, but that's just my gut instinct talking. :-)
They don't care about the rest of the worldI doubt they don't care about us, but on the flip size we don't make up a sizeable part of the paying population.

Besides, all the old-timers are used to NC crapping out during the holidays.

Do doctors ALL go on holiday? No where's always someone at the hospital, or at least someone on call

We're paying customers just as a patient would be, they could at least acknowledge a possible rollback or server failure (again)

You use doctors as a example of you need them and hospitals have rotas and they are on call. A mmorpg is not a life and death thing as doctors would be...its a server thats all.

They knew there were huge engine flaws before they went gold, they went gold anyway. They know Terra is fucked at the moment, does that mean they are doing anything about it? Maybe, maybe not. Hence, we want word that they are or aren't. Some of us base our decisions to pay another month on how they handle such situations, such is an obligation of a customer who wants quality service for their money.

We're paying customers just as a patient would beWe're more like Medicaid recipients than paying customers. Even collectively, we're not a sizeable monetary influx compared to Mars.

It's not like this is the first time this has happened. Why get bent out of shape over it? Beta 2/3 transition occured around the same time of year as did the infamous Patch 160. It's normal for NC to crap out during the holidays. Last year's holiday season was a fluke.

Thats fine for you to take your money else where...and all I was saying was you have had good updates as nid can only know so much.
We know the server is running at reduced capacity at the moment due to the clusters failing so we aint exactly in the dark and I'm sure they are currently investigating it and looking to patch the issue.

You would rather they just take the server down completely over the holidays if there was a issue on xmas eve. Bear in mind the size of KKs team and everyone needs a holiday, to start with it just looked like a minor corruption but it has got worse in the last 12 hrs. You have SLAs/contracts
in all business and resolution time.

If they knew the issue they it would be fixed in no time, but investigation needs to happen first, it isn't just a case of rolling it back they need to look at where the problem is so it won't happen again this could take a while depending on lots of things.

You bitching on here doesn't help anyone really does it? Apart something for you to do i guess.

Actually, they would. Both my phone and cable company have policies that state that if service is out on their end, we are comped for that time. So if I lost internet ability for 4 days, I would have 4 free days of time added onto my account. Same if it was my phone line. And even then they toss in an extra day or two on TOP of that to extend their courtesy.

As far as I've seen other than meager apologies here and there, KK doesn't really compensate for such things. Their christmas "Events" such as free items are skewed as to be advantagous to people in timezones convient to when the event starts which I realize they can't help since there are literally 24 hour time zones (but hey they coulda like done the event again at later times for other time zones).

We're just asking for a yes/no if theres a rollback, CURRENT acknowledgement that Terra is down/fucked/lagged to hell. And if by chance an announcement was made in the last 10-15 minutes, sorry I wasn't refreshing the announcement forum for it ;\

Hold that thought...there hasn't been 'downtime' for 4 days for a start...corruption and pretty mild and no game stopping stuff until today when the sync issues have a appeared not downtime and no rollback has been said about yet so you haven't lost it yet. Certainly you could of done something over the last 4 days at your choice not downtime in my book.

Also it's probably not the start of the business week yet unless you a shop in the sales as over here in the UK it's Bank holidays for today and tomorrow as xmas/boxing day was over the weekend and carried over for the workers...not sure about Germany I guess that happens there too.

I classify it as downtime. Simply because the last two times this has happened, a rollback was needed to fix it. Same exact problems. Only thing different this time is certain mob models being on players heads.

Since it is a problem known to need a rollback to fix, playing for 4 days only to lose the XP/Items/Money seems rather pointless. I coulda easily made a couple million in cash and damn near capped a character in that time, but with a rollback coming (unless KK pulls a post-christmas miracle out of where the sun don't shine) I don't wanna waste the time.

And if it's just ME that feels that way, I'd understand but even you gotta admit theres alot of others who aren't doing anything permanant with their characters cause of the possible oncoming rollback.

20 to 1 says they rollback to fix it, which would then prove me right in terms of 4 days downtime cause it's all for nothing.

Thats the oooooooooold spider cocoon, they took them out like 2 months after retail NC1 release or there abouts, hell mighta taken them out in beta4, used to spawn in the 2nd or 3rd level of the NC sewers lol...

I do not think KK know if there will or not will be rollback before coders are back.
And wasn´t there 5 coders btw ? I think I did read that somewhere but not sure.
So al lwe can do is wait and see.Those who have been lvling and stuff between
the time it got fucked until today shhould not scream if there is a rollback
as it is very possible.That is why I haven´t done any lvling either
