Help upgrading to NC2

Well just like an old addict crawling back to get his fix, here I am. Although now I'm a bit clueless how to go about it. I'm not even sure if my old account is still around. I never transfered characters to Doy, and if i still can I would be delighted to.

If anyone can shed some light on this subject, that would be helpful.

Weeeel - One question - what server were you on?


Anyhow - D/L client - start - go to account - got to transfer and select the account to rie to the new NC2 acc. Then select chars to transfer and which server.

Download these files:

Then download these files:

ftp://ftp.neocron.com/nc2retail/

Put them into the 'Neocron 2/patches/' folder.
Fire up NC2 and Patch yourself up to date.

Then in the Launcher click on:

Create Account (http://launcher.neocron.com/createaccount.php)

Select the "Upgrade Version" box and follow the steps.

Once piece of advice - and I did it this way and glad I did because my Click2Pay problems were minimal. Go to Click2Pay.com (http://www.click2pay.com) and setup a 1-Star Account First. Get it in working order then keep the username/password for ease of upgrade when you get into the NC2 Launcher.

I never transfered characters to Doy, and if i still can I would be delighted to.
All characters were screenshotted on about the 29th of september, they should still be there to transfer once you tie your new NC2 account with your old Nc1 account.

Bear in mind there was a partial item wipe; All epics (as keys of all kinds could not be transferred due to technical reasons), all keys (see epics) all items in the inventory, cirtain items such as quest items, medals and kami chips and spirit mods/ammo.
All items in the implant, QB and armour slots was preserved.
