KK now that Melee Pe's are a real char class wheres my pa ? to anyone who says there not a true class make a new char and pick street samurai and you can only pick a tank or pe. so when can we get some pa? since tank melee pa is class specific.
I had an idea, why not give PEs all different types of PA, like PC and RC, MC and HC, Driving PA (no im not nuts) and maybe....dunno cant think of any others....

now that thats out the way, there are 2 types of PA per class, this isnt likely to change. personally i think (what KK claims to be) a JOAT class shouldnt have PA, but with the game as it is they arent JOAT's :p
i think KK have something against PE, i honestly do :p

melee PE can cap a PoT, gun all vehicles (except maybe the bomber? not sure on that) and have decent resist force...
why exactly do they want PA too? its not even as if the PA looks good.
theres no massive problem with PE's that i have seen, and i have played my PE almost exclusively since NC2 started
We need Cut Throat to comment on this, seeing as he is one kick ass melee PE.
My view is MC PE PA would be nice, but its not a necessity. Personally I would prefer it if you could start a PE off with 80 STR and 60 DEX (i.e. rather than 80 DEX and 60 STR) so you could be an effective HC/MC PE.

capping a PoT,using self cast s/d and level 4 armour isnt "effective" to you?
oh and include damn good RoF on a DB (no wep lore needed for extra psi use as well as the crahn glove for drug reliant setups).
the class is nice as it is now :)

or were you just suggesting it... when its possible to get more rcl and wpw from imps than any other weapon skill (may be slighty closer now with the distance / targeting changes though... i dont know :))

*cough, cough* It was my subtle way of saying that there will only be 2 versions of PA for each class, as stated by Reakktor when they were introduced. Droner spies didn't like it and was promised something special (some speculated about a helmet) that was never delivered.
As for melee PE PA... there won't be any, read the above.

over 6 months since callash promised something, he never even said what it was. maybe he considered the new rare drones to be "something special"? as he has since not said what was planned (publically at least) we dont kow.
however i agree there wont be a droner PA... i was one of the people who voted on the poll to decide what PA's spies got... i voted pistol / rifle, and although my pistol spy is now drone i stick by it

Why does Jester keep having to tell you guys this...droners got improved imps and new drones ages ago. Callash stated no droner PA and certainly nothing about a helmet...that was all dreamt up by this community.
Droners are fine in stats etc...more bug fixs needed but more than fine on the stats side.

Sure lets give melee PEs some PA. While we're at it, why not give it to Hybrids too? And make droners permea-stealthed...? See where I'm going with this...?
What the hell is the point? Melee PEs are phoneys, plain and simple. What is a melee PE anyway? Its a gimped tank with a shelter, nothing else. It irritates me when I see Melee PE's runnign round saying "Look at me I can cap a Blade of Ceres if I drug my silly little Inq 1 pants off!! W00t!" Fine, let them act like gimped tanks, that doesn't bother me too much. The only thing that gives them a remote chance is the fact they can runcast heal, and have s/d which melee tanks don't. Give them PA and they become a little more bothersome.
I tell you what, Melee PE's can have their stupid little PA but it gives a malus of -15 PSI. Then they can't use a shelter, and have crappy PSI. If they want to live like melee tanks, its about time they saw what its like with rubbish Psychic powers.
I can understand PE's gripe, after all a character that is JOAT has no use in PvP unless he specialises. PEs have no specialisation at all so they have to mimmick tanks or spies, but demanding PA for every variant is pointless. Its like me asking for tradeskiller PA or something.

i was using the term to say they aren't a JOAT... :p
but that was just something i said for no reason... the main point wa that each class has (and likey will only have) 2 weapon lines worth of PA

I guess I did kind of drift away from the point a little, which is that PE's want too much. Theres been so many of these threads, combined with the "Give PEs stealth back". Regardless of what anyone says, KK decided PEs were JOAT. Ergo they shouldn't get Melee PA as that would contradict the whole idea of JOAT (as does any PA for PEs come to think of it, but then without something to specialise in PEs would be useless)/

if the JOAT status were right i would agree 100% that they should have no PA. i personally dont use PA on my PE anyway... 130 fire / nrg / xrr and 75 por... coupled with 427 health on smokers skillmanager (about 450-460 ingame i think)
