That all depends what your motherboard can support. If it can take PC3200 RAM, and you can find it price-wise (not in NthAmerica so I have no idea of your RAM prices there) #1 RAM for me is always Corsair, followed by Kingston.

Having said that, I'm a tightarse, so I have Geil memory in my machine, and it works fine - but first and foremost, find out what your system can support and get it. If you have a P4 HT CPU and a motherboard that supports it, get PC3200 Dual Channel ram - big performance boost over a single stick of the same size.

i just run at 2x256 kingston pc 3200 mem.. runs like a dream and can oc it. tho anything from Corsair or Kingston would work :p

oh btw.. just make sure your mobo can handle the chips your getting my crappy old MSI mobo couldn't handle the kingston ram ( ran on noname pc 2100 ram before on the MSI ) so i had to buy an ASUS mobo with it

Hynixes are cheap and likes high FSB. Poor timings, but who cares about timings at 250MHz.
Also Winbond likes to drop the hammer hard from time to time relasing a model with crazy OC capabilities at standard price.

Kingstons and corsairs are sticks brands, sod them, who made chips - that counts.

I use OCZ PC3200 cas2.5 ram in both the PCs I built this last year. My primary praise is that all 4 sticks I bought have had no problems. I don't OC (anymore... what's the point with 200MHz ram and 3GHz processors??) so I can't offer any testimonials on that front.

mmm well it looks like im going with either some pc4000 kingston, pc3500 simpletech nitro, generic hynix with some heatspreaders, or possably some low latency php ram. thx for the advice.

Any of the new 3200 2-2-2-5 memory using the Samsung chips overclocks fantastically and is well priced.
