5.1 headset

I need to figure out how to connect my 5.1 headset to my 5.1 soundcard. The 3 cables that I have coming from the headset are : Sub/cen (light orange), RR/RL (black), FR/FL (light green). The sockets in my soundcard are: Digital out (yellow), ( -(>) ) (blue), microphone (pink), <(-(-) ) (green), <(-(-) ) (black).

ATM only the green socket works (for any of the 3 cables). I have 5.1 enabled and I have the drivers that windows put on when I put in the soundcard. Any suggestions?

Get hold of a manual for your soundcard, which should have the socket names in plain english in - you can usually download it from the manufacturers website. I know you definitely can with Creative's.
