bet you came in here to look at some pvp screens, well i dont have any : P
i need to prove NC > WoW on a different forum, does anyone have any intense screenshots i could use (then people can take a look at some pics here too : P)

Get them to play and decide - I'm sure after... wait... WoW isn't out yet is it? :D
EDITED - not exactly PvP - but still bloody nice.

hmmmmmmm I have no pics too.....
the reason I have no pics is that I always fight for my ingame life and get a nice adrenalin boost (I don't fight that much) by doing this :D

UO pvp takes 10 bazillion times more skill than NC pvp
But UO PvP is boooring...

errrm obviously you havnt pvped much in UO
i find NC fun as well but there is just SO DAMN MUCH to uo pvp, dexxers ... yeah they suck but on a mage there is just no competition, you can pick up NC pvp in hours, UO takes weeks to become competant at
well im working on a 'System_shock' pvp video.. its still WIP in progress.. but has some Op war shots a 360 degree zoom of foster uplink a run through VR etc...

well its not finished so thts why its small also the actual video is 400 x 300 so the window is small.. when its complete ill prob bump it to 800 x 600
or even release a low res/ high res version.. :)
//edit: the pvp feature is a bad op war taken last night.. i needed to test it etc.. dint really get into the fight cos it was late..
//edit(2): if you show this video please point out that its un-finished and that was a bad war ;)

the sxr site has a nice selection of vids (but i forget the URL)
personally i like the uranus PvP vid, it gets very amusing towards the end when NCAT kill everyone (including the LE'd guys)

Um.. not really. Just take a small group of skilled pvpers in NC and put them up against hordes of people who think they can pvp because they're practiced for a few hours. The small group wipes the floor with 3-4 times their number in capped characters, easy. It takes countless hours to get good at NC, and constant practice to stay in shape, or you start sucking badly. I've noticed a lot of great PVPers in NC who've slacked off for a month or so lose about 50% of their skill or so. Sure, PVPing as a tank is easy, point click and run, hopefully hit, it's like CS almost. Try a spy or PE, life gets difficult. Try a PPU, you'll be banging your head against your keyboard for a few minutes, then reroll.

i play a melee tank, ppu, Pistol Pe and HC PE
the order of ease to play is this
1. Pistol Pe, buff up ... then point and click
2. PPU, buff up, dont die (easy), throw heals and buffs when asked
3. Melee tank, point and click, get paraed, eat drug, get drugflash, die (im not a good melee tank)
4. HC PE, too many things to take care of, good char though as i've played him a lot

i only just returned to NC too and havn't fought for more than half an hour in the last year either so i'll be putting my theory to the test

I can name a few people who could kill his "no drugging BoH using PE" (as if no one has ever done that before :rolleyes: ). And they'd either be other PEs, or Spies without shelter :lol:

BoH is a pretty good weapon too nowadays and i can use a RoLH or exe with only redflash, great stats on them too

My current PE setup uses a BoH as I got bored of popping 5 drugs to use an Exec. And your probably thinking something like "5 drugs, wtf???". The 5 drugs gave me a very high runspeed, the ability to do the same damage as a spy and receive similar damage to a tank (I also had 514 HLT when self-buffed). However, drugging every 5 mins to be able to play is tiresome and expensive so I went back to my old BoH setup that I had when I used stealth 1 :lol:

I just got it after redownloading at 18kb/s. Either its really popular or that host has bandwidth management problems.
