I thought they were making it so researchers got a boost. After the recent patches I went from 1 in 9 failures for TL150 researching to 1 in 2 with 1 in 8 being cubes being destroyed. Was this a intended not mentioned neft or a mistake? Anyone else seeing similar results?

It would help to know your RES and INT.

I haven't noticed much change myself. At first I seemed to get less failures but then it evened out I'd say. Obviously it's random so you can't be too sure.

res speed HAS been increased for example

research TL15 Psi Booster 2

with 33 RES i res it faster then i build it with 45 CST

it was NEVER like that.

also, ive had less failures when my res/cst < 2*TL

Lupus posted in the patch thread that the difference in much less at higher TLs.

I timed the 150 RES missions on patch day and there was no change.

the EXP for has gone through the roof from what i am being told on comms.

EXP now :
54,560 INT for a TL150 Mission
33,616 INT for an E part
8,640 INT for a T part

Previous to this the best you could get was 28,868 for a Punisher.

Level 91 to level 100 is 89,215,696 INT.
That's 1,636 builds assuming no failures.
That would take 37 hours of constant researching plus failures (81 seconds for TL150)

That doesn't sound like a long time but for comparison you can cap PSI on an APU in about 24 hours. You'll also cap CON and STR at the same time.

Personally I think it's about right now. RES is a viable levelling method and the missions can be fairly, but not excessively, profitable.

CST is less good because of all the dragging involved.

(I am of course assuming there isn't a RES exploit I'm unaware of)
