What is the highest player (NOT GM) combat rank you've ever seen (as a result of a bug or otherwise). Post a screenshot of them here (if you've got one).
Highest I've ever seen is 99/??. Highest any of my characters has got is 73/?? (buffed-up rifle spy).

Highest ive ever seen was about 100 odd, highest ive ever had is 90 was a long
time ago tho back in the old hybrid days :p

If you look hard, you will find a thread with screenies of high combat ranks.
I know back in the hybrid days it was possible to get a rank over 127... :eek:
One of my clannies was a hydrid in NC1 with a CR of 105. Something to do with combat rank being calculated from mixture of attack strength and defences.
A tank gunning a rhino laser gun on the chaincraft v.2 can get a CR of 80.
My apu who is not capped yet had a rank of 81/59*** when he got a ppu buff and pulled out his holy pestilence with his crahn glove on. I think that's quite an achievement for such a low overall skill rank.
The highest rank my pistol PE had in NC1 was 71/xx** when he was drugged up, using an executioner at a fortress with the combat OP bonus and pistol 3 buff on. Once on Saturn i saw a PE with a combat rank of 80 stood in plaza2. He had what looked like pistol PA4 on. Anyone have a clue how that could be possible? I tried asking him at the time, but he was afk :(

ermm befor the apu kami got nerfed Kreal had a hybrid on pluto had 127

The highest i ever got was my droner 91/62
:D all of these were on pluto btw
ohh and in answer to ure question he was a rifle pe using a healing light or disruptor with drugs buffs and goodness knows wat else u can get a high tech rc pe to give u a combat rank of 81
had a dogtag with a 92/64 drugged up STRspy .... lost while moving to cron2

somebody in my old clan had 128 or 129 but he was bugged. Same like you can get a rank of -1. he confused quite a few people with that bug as they all thought 127 was max :P
if i didnt lose my spells in the transfer from saturn i would have a juicy rank
i want my 3 favourite spells back :(

Normal Setup i go up to 79/...
With Changing PAs etc. 89/...
If i get tossed a PSI i could get up to 105 last time
A right forget a droner i could play once on friends acc :p
110 with drone3 ;-)
Btw seriously it might look cool to have so high rank.....

Highest i ve ever seen Sir Calvin Stormlord 127/XX on Uranus...
Way back in early nc1 retail there was a ppu named "Forget My Name" with a rank of 127/ In the forum his signature was "You receive no reward for killing a Warbot Titan. Go pick on someone your own size." Poor wittle warbots : D
This was before any of the hybrids had ridiculous ranks, us ppu's got the first rank boost. My rank went from 50/ to 70/ after that silly patch, couldn't hunt with any tanks anymore : )
There is was 127 hybrid on uranus back when kami's where in game. My hybrid can get to 106 right now and i don't even have ds...

Heh, i got 118 when i put kami chip in (sigh)
Got to 125 before the hybrid destructiion but people like essence and CC got over 127 i believe and confused GMs.

yea 127 is the highest rank i ever seen. on old hybrids on pluto. my own highest is 71 with rifle 3.. killer has 70 for ages just cause 70/70 looked cool :p but since they removed the "6yh stat" i'm down to /65 skill so went for a better setup and have "just" 69 combat rank.
never had capped spy's or monks so never got above that rank realy on other chars :p and my apu is just 56/57 to lol

I remember seein' the 127 around Uranus; could've sworn his name was Lord something Rake or some crap.

Well, My personal highest is 85/XX seems with a capped psi pool 'ppw' and pulling out a capped pest 85/XX is the max you can get.. im guessing a hybrid can get more..
now.. if i go cap my INT ill have 85/66
for a long time 91/ on my droner was the highest i reached, but then i beated it with 92/ on a pure ppu :lol: (i had a 1xx/ hyb too, but gettin high ranks on hybs is easy)
127 for hybrids
94 for drones
85 for rifles
74 for pistols
Thats all i know, drones may get even higher. Not sure there.
I miss my 84/74 rifle spy. :(

And that is the combat rank cap, you can go no higher.
Not sure what the highest Skill Rank I saw (Non-GM) Was.
In the mid-late 90s, wasn't the highest possible, though I doubt it's possible to reach it now.

Because I drugged him with every drug in the game, the only thing I didn't have which would've added to rank when I logged him off was MC5 CPUs, every other Imp added the max a char could have... + having done every epic and having done a _CRAP_ load of missions.... lol...
With them having fixed the rank bug my PE lost 6 skill rank levels :|

Awwww. I loved that constructor. He was a slot god. I would wait weeks to have stuff done by him. :D
When hybrids could use holy buffs and a Holy Lightning I saw CR's 100+ all the time. They were usually 110+ actually. The best I have seen in NC2 is 108/xx. Saw him at TH, HL with PE buffs he explained.
Funny side note:
I was able to achieve ONLY 34/55 with a holy lightning on my hybrid APU. I think it was the low PPW. My pool was around 261 iirc. :cool:

Highest I've personally had is 85/xx on my PPU when I gimped my PPU pretty hard by taking Defensive Psi 2 out and put Experimental Psi 2 in, to see if the PPW would boost my rank, and it did. I went from a usual 78/xx, to 85/xx.
Second highest I've had is my current rifle spy. He's typically around 80/xx, but occassionally gets 82-84 depending on better buffs and op bonuses.

Yeah, Kreal was at 127/xx combat rank for a while...
My personal highest is only 85/xx with rifles, but that was with no drugs and was with my regular combat setup (Kami setup) in town (no psi boosts or bonuses)
EDIT: Duh...I forgot that my PPU had a natural rank of 91/xx for a while... (no drugs, bonuses, etc)
my ppu speed 12 on saturn had 94/68 before the rank nerfs and the ds nerf now speed has 90/66

i have a hybrid on nc2 with 113/xx
Now this is something what I think is funny, hybrids and ppus are fighting with high ranks (the ones that aren't capped) and tanks can't just get to 80, I know I know, hybs make more damage and got insane defence in means of ppu stuff. But still, This isn't rocket science, tanks do more damage and have better defence than PEs for example, and PEs can get over 80 :o

but rumour has it that Pete got to 128/ on test server once.

correct, my above post mentioning TX is wrong, it was ZX (tw@'s alt) lol (i always mix up those 2, i dont think TX even played on saturn), altough i seen ZX with 124 once

had -127 too, i was like WTF relog that shit away.
I had seen smurf2 on Uranus and Mystic Monk / Fire starter both with 110+ ranking ... I tell you what, means nothing though

Smurf still has 110+ rank on his hyb in NC2 and although rank alone means nothing... i sure as hell wouldnt wanna fight him on his hyb :p

Too you, and the other person who got it wrong, it's Lord ANOMANDER Rake :). I was in the same clan as him (CIE) for most of NC1 (Come back Rakey, we miss you).

My PPU can hit 88/, which is the highest any of my characters can get. My PE used to be able to get 72/ when he drugged for Exec with Pistol3. And on Saturn Eled, Monsoon and that other hybrid would be seen with a CR of 110/.
Apart from that, I saw a CR of -127/ on a no-name PE out at MB once. :wtf:
I think Calvin Stormlord from Uranus (I think) had a 127/ rank. I did kill Monsoon on Saturn, he was a Cartel hybrid rank 106 :)

i remember him, and i even got a screenie of another hybrid after the nerf, well i thought i did lol try looking for the thread on hybrids been over powered, yeah i know it will take a while but its around somewhere, i screenie of v3rtex a raf hybrid i saw in pp before nc2 came out
Dr Quinn was 1/74 undrugged in nc1, 1/71 after 6th stat nerf. I know it's not combat, but my combat rank rarelly exceeds 3.
