My scrolly-clicky thing isn't scrolling when being clicky!

Um....yeah.

Anyway, the scroll wheel on my mouse will scroll things up and down perfectly fine....but the problem is that when I click the scroll wheel (So I can scroll through windows by moving the mouse, rather than the wheel) nothing happens. I can hear a "click" but the cursor doesn't change shape like it used to.

This only started a couple of hours ago, but it's already irking me off no end.

Erm - may seem weetoedid, but try a reset... I get it a lot and a reset tends to sort it...

Take it apart and remove the gunk and general shit that normally collects there. sorted.

If your mouse looks something like this, it isn't supposed to do anything if you click it.

Other than that, check your drivers, maybe some other program changed something :D BTW what mouse you are using?

Well, after a restart it works fine. Thanks for all the other suggestions though. :p
