I have had the same problem since the start (never bothered to fix it but maybe after two years (or so) of playing I should do something about it), I can't log out and log straight back in, I have to exit the whole program (read. close the whole NC client) and start it again to log back in.
This same thing happens when I alt, it doesn't give any error messages, it just wont log in.
