lookie here, it was find when putting on net sharing...until this poohey message came up and when i click yes...all i get is an error!
i need this shared so i can play my xbox live :(

So, What's wrong with that? It's just saying it's going to change your IP. You can change it back afterwards I should think.

That error's a generic Win32 Error code, so it doesn't shed any light on it.

Well - If I had any advice - I'd refuse to help because of the AOL I see defacing that image...

But I would say - first of all - sort out you're freaking connections.

And delete the Porn dial up you oversexed monkeh. IDK what it is with teens and porn... Back in the day - Imagination was all we had... AND it was in black and white.

It's a virtual directory - it doesn't exsist.

hmm...
now explorer doesnt work when i turn on my computer....i now have to type in a task in task manager that doesnt exist...then ill get a message saying that it isn't there then explorer starts...but the net sharings fooked

First of all - What connection are you using? You have dial ups - Lans - and Broadband.

I take it lans are actually going somewhere yes?

I'm also going to assume that you're the gateway?

In that case Dial ups aren't needed - because anyone sharing a 56K job is terminally stupid.

1) Lose all the dial ups.

2) Name you freaking connections sensibly. FOR FUCKS SAKE. It's really irritating trying to look at someones problems when you can't tell what each one does, because some pratt has called it Moo. =/

3) Never touch a computer again. EVER. On pain of death.

ok look i'm sorry, aol kept telling me to make maore connections to get it working...they ALL connect me to aol.

Well You've only got One conection to the internet - so you don't need all of them.

Set One New one up - Call It AOL Broadband connection - That way - You know exactly what it's for.

Get rid of the others.

Remove the Porn Dial UP.

I'm Thinking you don't use the 56K - so all the dialups should be disabled - Don't remove the rest.

What are the two lans for? Other computers? Name them.

I think half the access trouble is the computer falling over itself trying to find which connection it should be using.

Unplug your computer from it's ADSL or whatever. Now run the Spyware remover.

Spybot S+D is a good one to use.

Run it. Remove the spyware. Run it again.

The check startup programs and make sure you don't have a crapload in there. ( I got paid by a buddy at uni to fix his computer because it froze at windows - The idiot had about 40 programs in his startup, it wasn't frozen - it was trying to start them all up at once).

Okay - and now let us Know EXACTLY what you've been told by the XBOX maual to do to get live.
